That’s so culture shocking because I bet there’s a portion of the population that gets less then minimum wage, because every country has it.
180€ for rent eat maybe have a kid?
That’s why we see lots of violence videos from Brazil, they don’t revolt against government but is crime and violence is kind of sign of inner revolt, like revolting directly against peers and immediate social group like region or neighborhood.

to put perspective 6x time the minimum wage so 6000 reaus(by google search), in some countries isn’t considered livable wage.

Also I though bolsonaro thing was to “fix” the form mistakes of former government.

anyways you are the real heroes to still gaming on this conditions

Well, I might say I am impressed with these prices - was expecting much worse. But buying gaming electronics in Brazil is a sad affair.

People will eventually buy in installments and early adopting will be mostly for the rich.

Lastly just to put in perspective Luxemburg minimum wage would be 10000 reals for a minimum wage job but almost everyone gets a minimum wage. (After taxes full salary would be 12400 reals)

He can't even if he tried, our situation with violence is more complicated than just revolt against government, very rarely a criminal gets punished when he commits a crime here, and sometimes even if he's caught after he kills someone, dude is on the streets a few years later, a big part of the problem is our criminal justice system which is a clown show.
If you are underage you can go on a COD killstreak and sometimes you will be out in 6 months.

We have a saying, "bandido bom é bandido morto", basically "a good criminal is a dead criminal", because if he ain't dead, and he just gets arrested, he will be out in short order and will be committing crimes again soon enough.

I will stop my rabbit hole quest into Brazil situation, I stopped on 260 murders in 2019 in Luxemburg against 41 THOUSAND in Brazil, does the birth rate even covers it with the other deaths? It’s war numbers.
I now o just saved a documentary on Brazilian prision, gonna watch on the weekend

Our prison system is another joke, there's not enough clearly and they are poorly managed, like everything else in this country it's a corrupt system, and because there's not enough space, rival gangs end up staying in close proximity, so they are basically at war inside the prison as well.
There was a viral video around a few years back, one guy managed to reach the rival gang leader with a huge knife and just stabbed the guy to death like a pig, then he cut his head open, took the brain in his hands and start wearing it around like a trophy.

How you guys even game? Like on violent countries woman and minorities gets fucked first and all, I’m imagining that the west discussion on those affair is almost “first world problems” for you guys.
Like can you at least go peacefully to your job have a car etc?

Oh yeah, it's kinda weird, we have all these violence happening around us but we still go about our normal lives, sometimes the violence reach us, i have been robbed twice, once in the street by a group 5 of guys a few of them with knives and by a couple of guys at home, one was armed with a gun.
The cops managed to get the 5 guys with my documents in their possession, 3 were kids and after i testified surprisingly we managed to keep them in prison for a year, what's crazy about that situation is that 2 of those kids belongs to rich families, they were just doing because "it's cool", the other time where i was robbed and chained in my house they never found the 2 criminals, it's what it is, you just learn to move on from this stuff, the nightmares stay for a while though.

That used to be the case. PC games prices at launch are a lot more closer to their PSN and XLive counterparts.
That said, have you seen the prices of the next nvidias? It's still cheaper to buy consoles around here, a lot more than the US.

You also have to use the payment methods they support (boleto, mercado pago, transferência).
I'm always buying locally so I can't say for sure

Funnily enough, living in Brazil my entire life I have never been robbed or assaulted here.

Instead, I was robbed in Mexico City and Buenos Aires because I was stupid and left my guard down.

Coisa de mil Reais a menos, cer a de 3200,00
A matemática básica é multiplicar o preço de tabela (pode variar de loja pra loja, mas é difícil ser diferente) pelo valor do dólar paralelo, depois adicionar 25% do atravessador, depois mais 11% do vendedor aqui no Brasil. Esse é o preço de ATACADO.

Jogo tava num preço bom pela casa dos R$200 - se lembrem que um jogo custava igual na época do PS2, mas o salário mínimo era bem menor.

R$350 é basicamente a conversão direta do preço de antigamente. O pior? Jogos são impressos em Manaus, então essa porra deveria ter um preço padrão, não oscilar que nem couro de pica. A Microsoft até que se manteve numa base, mas a Sony só vem avacalhando e agora quer estourar o cu do palhaço

Quer outra prova que a Sony tá 100% nem aí? Jogo do Switch, que é tudo importado, chega aqui por R$300

I’m not sure if you can call them liberal because the Bolsonaro’s team want to create more tax and not remove them.

They are trying to create a new CPMF (with another name obvious)... it is a tax over every financial transaction that didn’t was a big fuck up in the past and so via protests removed... now they want it again.

They want to get rip of the anual tax returns too.

They are of course liberal for some things like selling public’s assets at cheap prices to the own Economic minister buy them.

Pelo histórico, não tem motivo a Microsoft deixar o preço igual ao do PS5. Acredito muito que o Series X vai chegar aqui por R$4000, enquanto que o Series S vai ficar por R$2500 ou quase R$3k

Eu vi um post no Linkedin ontem de uma assessora que trabalha com games supostamente dizendo que o Series X tava confirmado a 4999, mas não achei nenhuma fonte disso, e não tinha nenhuma informação do series S. Estou de fato bem curioso pra saber como vai ser.

Só deve rolar isso se a Microsoft não montar o bicho aqui. Não é impossível, mas só seria algo estratégico se eles soltassem um "iremos lançar esse ano por R$5k, mas ano que vem será fabricado e terá desconto", mais ou menos como foi com o PS4
