Sony have their schedule and they are sticking to it.
Just like pre-orders date right? Yeah very tight schedule. lol
I mean Sony marketing has been on point since the first PS5 news it’s been good news after good news so why would you tight their fantastic marketing strategy right? lol
/Sarcasm
They don’t have a schedule and they are running like headless chickens. Not the first or last articles talking about Sony lack of communication so I would take their word over you random NeoGAF dude defending Sony because your favorite plastic box.
Not triggered, just fed up with the garbage you come out with on all these MS/Sony threads.I have no idea why you are triggered, that's something you need to answer.
I'm not saying I like Sony's approach, I'm stating that they have a specific approach and it hasn't been reactionary to what MS does.
in this case internet lack of patience is more the problem
or is it this need for click, click, click ?
how can we write that kind of article when https://screenrant.com/sony-hands-on-ps5-demo-youtube/Lack of patience indeed. How dare they ask for more information less than 45 days to launch for the console they are paying premium for?

we have a date...if nothing is shown there then it will be the right time of rant.
Well in western Europe you can only find an Xbox at Polish Microsoft website at the moment. It's also sold out in the States, Japan, Korea, Australia, etc. So maybe in some countries it's not sold out, that doesn't change my point that these systems sold themselves, and there is no need for Sony to really push for more momentum. They really aren't. Here where I live (Eastern Europe) Xbox is still available in large quantities from every retatiler. PS5 is sold out and sold far more units.
Wow. Some of you Sony "fans" are really drinking the Koolaid if you find this lack of communication acceptable. I have my PS5 on pre-order as their first-party output is a must for me. But the lack of information coming from them compared to Microsoft is appalling. As many of you mentioned, they're sold out of pre-orders already. What's the point of withholding information?
Bloody typical!! It was the one main game I wanted for the system!
I suppose it makes not getting a pre order a bit less painful.
It makes it easier to avoid mistakes. This is not the Andrew house's playstation that was open and transparent who was not afraid of a mistake because they believed in themselves and product. This is secret squirrel Sony who waits for Microsoft to go first to capitalize even if it means bold faced lies. They were for generations before they were against them. Sad thing is they could be open honest and transparent still get 65-70% market share. They did not need to go secret squirrel dishonest route. That is what Andrew house understood they have the best studios in the world. They were going to win big so being open and honest was the best course.Wow. People do that all the time.
- Some people paid hundred and hundreds of dollars for something we know very little about
Their preorder date in my part of the world was "in 12 hours". Retailers handled it poorly, but Sony didn't even give a day's notice to most of us. That's after promising they wouldn't do specifucally that. Are you by any chance an Xbox fan? Just asking.
What was wrong with their pre-order date? They gave the date and retailers chose to do their own thing and ignore it. Has nothing to do with Sony.
They do have a schedule. They ignore what MS is doing and do their own thing.
Nobody is forced to buy anything.Does someone force people to order PS5 ?
For me personally there's enough information to pre-order.
I don't need to see the UI and complete disassembly video to make a decision.
If there's not enough info for you personally - don't pre-order.
People are getting more whiny and more touchy with every hour now.
Each individual has thier own preferences/bias/financial situation. Seems pretty fair to say more information is objectively better than less information.
They are expensive devices with trash launch line ups. To me spending 600+ on a console and game where you haven't even seen it in action yet is absolutely nuts. Then again both consoles are sold out so clearly people are fine with it.
Is asking a waiter questions about the meal they advertise and you wish to purchas, whiny?
Just common sense to know exactly what you are getting before you pay for it.
Its unlikely those 2 crowds are the same people and if they are they are idiots and kinda irrelevant when it comes to the conversation about being objective.Sure. But when you see zillion of topics "Sony, just let me preorder already" and after preorder started zillion more "Sony is not telling/showng us anything !!!", it's a bit too much.
I think Sony showed quite a lot. Video of Xbox SX assemlby by DF was done with Microsoft blessing because this internal design looks cool. If Sony's internal design is not that sleek, why should they show it ? They have great games, so they focused on games.
Both companies showed their strong points (apart from Halo Infinite) - this is called Marketing.
P.S. Also you don't usually preorder meals.
Yeah, Sony is the one running around like headless chickens. Not MS without a launch lineup so they're throwing backwards compatibility in everyones face everyday since its the only thing they can actually advertise...Just like pre-orders date right? Yeah very tight schedule. lol

The conspiracy theories on NeoGAF have been off the charts for the past month. The journalist stated valid concerns and you guys question his integrity. Its really getting pathetic around here.ReedPop | Home

Yeah but reviews are biased when Xbox games get slammed....The conspiracy theories on NeoGAF have been off the charts for the past month. The journalist stated valid concerns and you guys question his integrity. Its really getting pathetic around here.
it’s not only about the lack of communication. It’s also about spreading lies.
Anyone remember this:
PS5 games won't be playable on PS4, SIE boss confirms: "We believe in generations"
"It is time to give the PlayStation community something new"www.gamesradar.com
If MS pulled something like they would be hammered, but since it’s Sony it’s easily forgotten. Hypocrisy.
Yeah after they stop counting their money and finally decide to dust it off.Sony have their schedule and they are sticking to it.
Its one on those "technically, i didnt lie" type things. They just said "generations", let the internet buzz about it for months without correcting themselves, then was like "you guys said that, not us", when forced. Typical corporate pr move."We believe in generations, and that's all we've got to say about that."
Four months go by in complete silence...
"Yes our games are cross-gen. Yes, we announced it five minutes after our digital showcase in a blog post. But we haven't once said they WON'T be cross-gen. Where's the lie?!"
Come on. It's a lie by omission. They don't need to flat out say "our games aren't going to be on PS4 any longer" for it to be obvious what they were doing. At any point, while Microsoft were getting flak for doing the same thing, they could've announced it. But they didn't.
And why did it matter so much that people are now ignoring that incredibly obvious move to say "they didn't lie"?
Even if they didn't, and that's a hypothetical if because they absolutely did, how they handled this was shady as hell.
You sound triggered to me.
I don't remember you from any of these threads, but then again I struggle to remember how many people I own in these threads.
How much patience do you want us to have when the entire marketing process for this thing has been a clusterfuck and spaced out too far from each other? And this is Push Square we’re talking about it so don’t even try the whole “Xbot hating muh Sony!” Thingin this case internet lack of patience is more the problem
or is it this need for click, click, click ?
