Looks very fun.

Do we know the framerate for PS4, is it also 60fps?

Good question. I would assume it's 60 fps as well. I don't think they would make it 30 fps and do all the work required to make sure it feels the same. Probably look less crisp, textures less detailed etc.

The game nobody was clamoring for. To me Little big planet has always been a shitty platformer that only justified its existence by the creation tools. The games have always felt sluggish to me with an unpleasant physics engine.

If they are going to waste money on platformer I would have rather seen this effort go towards a new Sly Cooper any day or even a new Knack or Jak and Daxter.

You are missing something. The issue you are talking about was addressed by the devs recently.

looks great, though i'm not sure if i'd pay £60 for it, it looked like a budget £30 game from the first trailers. I would have nuch preffered a LittleBigPlanet 4, but yeah fuck it i'll take it, if Ratchet's not out by the time I get my PS5 i'll play it for sure.

Do you have a link? I haven’t been following at all.

I have played each installment and found the same thing in each one. I did get some enjoyment out of the crazy stuff people made in the creation tools.

i mean he does raise a fair point, it is strange how they're removing what made LBP1-3 unique rather than just make a new Jak or Sly game, or even an original platformer.

They are using the mascot and the world to make a true 3D platformer in the vein of Mario 3D world with 4 player co-op. I think that's a smart play.

That's not to say I wouldn't die for a new Sly Cooper game. That's my jam.

yeah but that's never what LBP was so I can understand why people aren't happy. I still think it looks fun tho.

also they should make a Loco Roco 3 with those fancy triggers holy shit can you imagine

Thanks, it’s interesting that he spent so much time about the things I had mentioned. That’s great news, I was very disappointed in Sumo digital’s take on the game so hopefully these guys can deliver.

The mascot and art style are reason enough to create a nice platformer, imo.
It doesn't need to be married to those creation tools.
