I'm more oriented toward demons on ps5 and one between valhalla or godfall on pc (depend on who looks less shitty during launch period), morales after a while with a discount, i really don't care for his character or the villain they showed and full price for a spinoff is kinda steep.
But maybe i'm gonna change my idea during this month, i'm very easy to hype...

Gotcha. Demon’s is the game I’m most looking forward since it will be my souls game.

I’m really interested in MM because I loved the first SM. I’m not into comics so I don’t care if Miles is white, black, brown, yellow or green... just deliver an awesome experience like SM did.

If you have issue with me having a voice in any PS game related threads where I echo the general sentiment of everyone else, then YOU have a personal problem with ME specifically.

And then to wish me banned is just completely pathetic.. I have a right to speak about any game on these boards whether they are PS, Xbox, Nintendo or PC. I don't get salty when you guys give opinions on PC games and wish you were banned.. that's so childish and echoes your personal vendetta with me as well as your blind dedication to a box.

Some people are real touchy. I shit on the neon, hyper-saturated Watch Dogs/Fortnite art direction and people got real mad. I only buy Sony, have no interest in PC gaming, but people get upset when I criticize a Sony game.

I’m genuinely happy people are getting something they’re excited about, just don’t string me up because it’s not for me.

I forgot to add, that voice of Miles is terrible. Should have just got the Spiderverse actor instead.

Looks great (and I will be playing it eventually on a PS5), but it looks great in the sense that it's a PS4 game with a few things turned up to 11.

Spidey PS4 was already so good looking; that I just can't be all that impressed by an iterative cross-gen title.

It's clear it's not a ground-up next-gen game and it's not taking advantage of the next-gen in any way other than some dials turned up, load times, haptics and 3D audio. The visuals, gameplay and world fundamentals will ultimately be hampered by a HDD and 1.6Ghz Jaguar Cores being the baseline.

I'm not buying a PS5 for cross-gen, I'll get one when there are full-blown next-gen titles such as Ratchet and (hopefully) God Of War. The cross-gen stuff will be eBay purchases to fill the gaps.

Also, Miles' voice sounds awful here, really out of place.

In addition, the change in Peter's character model has massively soured me to both the franchise and Insomniac. Regardless of the reasons, the end result is the lovechild of Tom Holland and vanilla pretty boy #7; totally boring, looks way too young, the voice no longer fits and it's robbed the game of one of its core pillars, a distinct main character which represents a unique take on Peter. Plus he's no longer coherent with the world and characters; he looks younger than Miles who he's supposedly mentoring; and I don't buy for one second him in the context of a relationship with MJ; or a past relationship with Black Cat.

/Digression and rant over..

Not really a rant, it’s a rather intelligent take. But guys, do remember that most Gen s took a while to pull out truly next gen experiences. I mean, i wouldn’t early adopt looking forward to WOW. I just wowuldn’t reccomend anyone do if that’s what they look for.
As generations pass, it’s been rarer and rarer to see one launch game go BOOM at launch.

If that’s anyone one of your cases, just wait it out, a year, maybe 2. Don’t rush into dissapointment. I personally am getting both, i don’t really mind. But i truly understand those that DO mind.

Don't worry it will come. Everybody including PS4 owners need to get in on Miles Morales, this is a huge installbase to ignore. Some of the PS5 strengths are already showing pretty strongly in these cross gen games. So naturally Spiderman 2 will just take things to the next level, but what's here it's pretty impressive nonetheless....

In italy the price is inflated a lot, it cost around 60 euros (50 dollars are 42 euros not 60), more than what i payed in the last years for ps4 games at launch, no thanks for now.

Yes, it has quick-time events in the game, But it's not a QTE game. There's a difference.

I guess I view Dragons Lair as less QTE, and more the basic control of the game. By that same token, a game like Night Trap has QTEs. I see your point, but I guess the way they've been implemented into cutscenes in 3D games was first introduced with Shenmue. Prior to that, they were just interactive choose your own adventure-style interactive movies.
