They just need to make a "horde"-type mode playable with character(s) of the player's choice. The PVE gameplay is so good in TLOUII that it deserves to be given a pproper showcase. I mean. if Bend and SP can add this sort of thing into their games (as free add-ons), then ND should do the same.

Donno why but to me, OST from the first ine was so memorable. I dont even remember the one from TLOU2 even though I finished the game twice and liked it.

Some initial impressions on gameplay:
-Aiming still sucks just like in first one, you have to be goddamn surgical with your thumbstick it just isn't fun. Skill gap criers can go to hell.
-Push stick lightly not to make sound for clickers, like jesus could you make the anymore slower to pad out the length.
-Amazing animations are nowhere to be seen, plays like any other video game, which fine for me but, they just had to hype it.
-Collecting crap or upgrade materials just seems another waste of time. But it's survival horror! I suppose but to me its just dull.

On story:
-Now I am not bothered too much if creators want to push their agenda or view, but this just seems bit too front loaded, with things like bigots, weed, superficial relationships, and bi/gay characters pushed right out of the gate.
-Pacing so far has been slow both in terms of content and delivery.

Okay man I agree. The game is bad technically, graphically, the animations are bad, the gameplay is bad, the aiming is bad and there are abslutely no ways to change it in the options, the story is bad, the pacing is bad, the enemy design is just in place to make this very long game even longer.

Anyone mess with the filters, err, render modes? Some really good ones in there (1960, terminated, demons, trinity) and some awful ones (headache, pop poster, dungeon) I played through the entire game in the 1960 one, and it was... something. It seemed to make certain sections even more tense/scary, like the level where you first encounter the seraphites.

Blood & Truth , Days Gone and Ghost of Tsushima are the only games so far that received updates.

With Horizon Forbidden West, God of War 2 and The Last of Us Multiplayer arriving soon, it makes me believe they might charge a fee for a true upgrade.

They might release it with the multiplayer but we don't know when its coming. I hope that is the case. Its also possible that there will be a remastered version like with Spider-Man.

its goty for me but ya, every time something gnarly was about to happen im like, k theyre gonna make us fuck off for 10 hours... and boy they did. but in the end i think it worked! was hella conflicted about the ending in a good way.

I continued to play this game after almost one month pause. There have been some cool set pieces and levels, I guess even if most of my previous grievances are still there. It took me about 10 hours to get to Seattle day 2 on Abby, so I was wondering if somebody could estimate how much I have left to play?

I'm not sure but but you have passed the halfway point. I planning of playing the game again soon when I get my first 4K TV. I have the base PS4 so its not going to look better but HDR should work.

Playing through this finally, About 4 hours in I think, maybe a bit more. Just after the first WLF building in the 'dome' building.

Game feels a lot different to the first. It's like you're forced into combat a lot of times. The encounters are poorly designed for perfect stealth imo (so far), but I'm guessing like most games upgrade break this pretty quickly (can already see some +speed with listen that looks like it could break stealth). The first two (Abby running from the horde, and the equivalent of the apartments in TLOU I) were just horrible. The subsequent ones have been okay but I think they have been designed to go wrong or be very delicately balanced to give that illusion of dynamism.

Shotgun is a beast

I was surprised how fast the story got started. There was a disconnect though for me. Obviously Ellie is indifferent to Joel at the start so it sort of dissolves that closeness so it was kid of 'meh' about Joel in the end.
