During the company’s Q3 results call, Activision Blizzard Chief Operator Officer has announced that Black Ops Cold War’s first season will arrive in December.

As part of the game’s first season launch, Black Ops Cold War & Warzone integration will then take effect. This will allow players to bring Black Ops Cold War weaponry & operators to Warzone.

We’ll bring Black Ops Cold War characters and weaponry into the free to play experience, along with substantial new content ensuring that Warzone remains both the terrific experience and a powerful on-ramp for the franchise’s premium content.

Activision also announced that Black Ops Cold War will follow Modern Warfare’s monetization system. The game will feature a new Battle Pass system, with weapons earnable through free tiers, and more.

I must be missing something. I believe there is one winning team at the end of warzone. I prefer warzone over Blackout and the numbers prove I’m not the only one

Black Ops offers a fov slider on console. I’d like to see that make its way into Warzone. I’d also like to see the ability to turn off cross play for consoles, or at least not play with PC players. Until frame rates and fov slider can be matched, the console experience is way behind the PC. Plus the insane amount of hackers coming out of the PC scene ruins the experience.

Really interested to see how this integration works since they are using two completely different game engines. I've posted this before, but all I can say is I hope they don't fuck up Warzone.

It would also be great if they announce a next gen native version of Warzone.

Agreed. It's BR light. It's funny Blackout looks much more cartoony but it's much more hardcore and makes WZ feel like arcadr battle royale.

CW Dirty Bomb mode was amazing, the TTK is and map design is fantastic and would be great in their own vision of BR. Sadly wel are stuck with IWs Warzone.

Just wondering what you think Respawn should take from war zone. I literally am just asking as I don’t play Battle Royal games ( I’ve probably played 3 or 4 hours of apex and war zone each). Battle Royal just doesn’t do it for me.

The beta had two really great BR maps, although it was only for Fireteam Dirty Bomb, which was incredible on its own. I assume that'll be in at launch with the Warzone integration being a separate thing later down the road.

Titanfall 2 deserved more recognition. One of my favorite campaigns of the last gen.
