This looks interesting

Oooh very nice. I dont see it but I hope I can set inverted Y-axis as default.

Yeah I kinda expected this... they really glossed over it in their hardware video.

I also wonder if the current crop of PCIE 4 drives is actually going to work. It doesn't make sense to me with all the customizations and advancements Sony made that a moderately faster standard drive would be enough to overcome the differences.

Am I wrong?

You know thats a negative for both platforms right? Not to mention it's something extremely obvious.

Posted? I remember Cerny saying it wcould happen a bit after launch.

My guess is that they want to test out the drives to find out which ones work. Pretty sure at some point Sony will give us a list of compatible drives.

I kinda find it a bit strange myself, i thought you would be in the Microsoft review thread especially on a day like this, reading all the dozens of xbox reviews but here you are, throwing shade about in regards to the ps5

But yer, its probably just me again, i always tend to give these things wrong.
You have a nice day.
Plenty of Sony guys in the Xbox review thread asking why anyone would buy one and talking about how great Demon's Souls is. People ask questions all over the place it doesn't necessarily mean they have an agenda.

Xbox Series X Review by IGN

We can only assume that the Xbox Series X will wow us with new and spectacular next-gen games eventually, because there isn’t much to judge it on right now
But in the meantime, no matter what current games you throw at it, your loading times will be drastically cut, your framerates will be smoother, and your resolutions will be higher. This bold and minimalistically designed box is quiet, compact for both the power it packs and especially how it compares to the PS5, capable, and loaded with convenience features like instantly resuming and cycling between any of your recently played games. Compared directly to the PlayStation 5’s specs, it flat-out gives you more power for the same price. It’s going to be a joy to see what developers actually do with it in the coming years.

Final Verdict 8/10

*All games that support the feature
How on earth should that work automatically for all games (including PS4 games)? That is technically impossible. Some games might not ship with your prefered language or might not have difficulty settings, what should the system do then? It is obviously a setting the game reads and decides what to do with it, applying it if it fits.

I don't understand you. It is like wondering why your coffee cup has "fresh coffee is hot" on it.

i still cant decide between demon souls or godfall

demon souls clearly looks the best game of the launch but i don't like souls games

godfall is also looking great visually and seems more streamlined gameplay but it doesnt look as good as DS lol

Did you play the other dark souls games before, did you like them, did you play bloodborne.

Do you like games like Diablo.?

If you don't like Souls games, I'll doubt you'll enjoy DS - it plays exactly like the rest of them, but it's not as chaotic in terms of level design, since the worlds are not interconnected and you don't get lost easily.

The way Nickolaidas explained it is pretty good. Demon's Souls levels in themselves are kinda big, but it's easier to navigate because each level is separated by archstones you can go to. From there those levels are broken down to sections you can fast travel to, and there are bosses throughout. It's much more linear than future Fromsoft games, but it also more difficult in ways because healing items are consumable, and can't be replenished by just simply resting at a bonfire. There also aren't a million bonfires like future souls games, so if you die, you have to restart that entire section over again. It's easier to navigate, but more difficult in ways because of older mechanics.

Being able to load pretty much instantly back into the game will alleviate a lot of the frustration. A lot of that before came from dying, knowing you have to travel kinda far back, but also having to deal with long loading times in between getting back to gameplay.

Then i would strongly suggest Godfall. From what i see it looks fun and satisfying and most importantly easy to get into. Also, there are so many different armor sets to choose from, there is a very good chance you will find one or two you will like.

Also, Godfall seems more to be about co-op, whereas in demon souls you will get fuckers like FunkMiller FunkMiller and co trying to invade you every 5 mins.

Demon souls i believe will score higher as a game, much higher but i have said this before, buyers beware, these type of games are not all fun and dandy, for veterans and people with a particular mindset, these games are fantastic..

People that get upset at dying again and again and want a quick thrill every hour to so, i very much doubt will find that kinda joy from Demon souls. If you get upset easy or have low tolerance levels, demon souls is not the game for you.

But this is just my opinion, and you have never listened to me once on this forum so why start now. :messenger_heart:
