It'll maybe come back someday, but I'm almost certain Redrix was getting sunset, so unless you're a checklist guy it may not have been worth it in the long run

lol, I stopped needing things a couple seasons ago. Makes D2 alot more able to be stomached that way. The sandbox is beyond boring and it seems to not be changing this season. The overall guns need to be jacked up in quantity and usefullness by like 300% IMO

So, I have a bit of a weird question. I have an old PC, so I'm switching to Xbox (Series X) on Tuesday. I have Game Pass Ultimate and I have not pre-ordered Beyond Light anywhere yet.

Beyond Light Deluxe Edition is $84.99CAD on steam or $76.49CAD on the Xbox store (with game pass discount).

1) Can I purchase Beyond Light on Xbox (for the discount), log in and redeem everything on Tuesday on my new Series X, then switch back to PC until Dec. 8 (for 60+fps)?
2) The season passes are NOT included in Game Pass Ultimate, and still need to be purchased, correct?

You don't need to buy Beyond Light at all if you have Game Pass, dude, it comes with it. Not sure on the season pass, tho? Would be an extra 10 US dollars if not.

I wish, I think the 3 years of same ole same old has kind of beaten the hype out of most of us. There are a few of us, but are pretty spread between PS4/PC/Xbox so not much of a community around these parts due to lack of playerbase amongst our ranks. I'd love to play more with people, but pickins been slim. Maybe this draws people back, I think the issue is the season pass model drives them away so fast that it offsets us.

Just the usual warning: day 1 is going to be a buggy mess with connection issues and all kinds of weirdness.

But.

If there are exploits for personal gain, you want to get in on the ground floor before they get fixed.

Yup, if you can count on anything with this game, anything that is beneficial to us will be patched instantly, anything that is a bug that hinders us will be fixed sometime in January...

Hmmm, thoughts on what I might miss out on waiting a touch?

The 60 gig update isn’t just the dlc of course. It’s actually the new size of the game. Pretty sure I have two versions of the game downloaded right now.

Live event of some kind in a few minutes. No idea what or where

takes you to the "ground level" of the last city and you get to run around. you'll get a Quickness buff pretty soon and eventually get to a door to interact. now it's to another part that's sorta a social space.

I just took my daughter to her Pathfinders enrollment so this kind of pleases me.

I just got online to see when I can get in... I'm number 9645 in the queue. That is utterly unacceptable.

The queue dropped to under 8k for a bit... But now it's gone over 8 k again... So much for adding in the order we connected

If they aren't going to learn to open up more servers when they do shit like this they need to stop trying to do shit like this. Advertise the actual time something is going to go down, and make sure you can handle your playerbase all logging on to see it. We want to experience it, not watch a youtuber watch it FFS. They booted everybody out of what they were doing to let them know about this mission, then they can't handle the amount going in? We've been bored for 2 months of course we want to see something different

got a short cut scene. the 4 planets/locations got taken up by darkness in the destination map. Traveler bursts with light, then back to the start screen. /pout

That's kinda lame for the end of a season and a huge change to the game.

I didn't get to see any of it. Never got out of the queue and got a server error.

Would have fun to see it live but I think I made the right call remembering waiting for Almighty to blow up.

the disc space used is out of control for d2 right now for the preload. The last patch should have just deleted everything.

edit: okay finished the download and launched the game and it cleaned up the files the whole D2 folder is now 55.1GB

There is simply no match for Bungie UI but I hoped welcome screen would have more frozen ice on it.
Like Shadowkeep one was really good.

Edit: And just realized I have off tomorrow. Someone give me some adderall so I can play this bitch all night!
