Finally logged back in. I hate this meteor event or just in general collecting things. :/

It was bad implemented.
I mean, did they really expect players to waste their time and patience in collecting shard on the mountainous part of Lyue? That waste tons of times because you spend too much gliding to a mountain to another. That was an idiotic move.

The rest of the collecting areas are fine. You just find the shard and pick them up, ignoring any useless fight encounters. Also if a spot is too difficult, you just move to the next closer one instead of wasting time tracking a difficult one.

I take it the game basically forces you to use those books like Hero's Wit to level up? Kind of a shit system imo. I've just played the game and not used any and got to AR 25 and I'm stuck at that until I level up and can do the ascension quest I think.

I'm AR 25 but only like level 15 and in the Ascension dungeon thingy the bad guys are level 37 I think it was? I was getting my ass kicked. Kind of crap design to force you to use those books. Just playing the game should level you properly, and then the books should all be useable for extra characters. You shouldn't be forced to use them just to keep one team up with the enemies levels.

Yea, you will take forever to level up via battle alone. You're supposed to be using books to level up, which means you also need tons of money to level up. It's a system that feeds itself to make sure you're broke nearly constantly.

They changed the formula for environmental damage quite a bit from 1.0. They actually already patched it and nerfed it back down considerably, you should have seen right after 1.1 dropped. Fischl and Klee could kill themselves in just a few seconds in grass with fire. If I had to guess, I'd say you're getting superconducted by electric enemies in water or whatever.

You get at least a 4* weapon or character every 10 pulls from the last 4* character or weapon you got. I'm not sure where the discussion is on how they count the last X number of pulls if you get your 4* as your like 3-4th in a 10 pull. Some people are playing it cautiously and doing only singles. I don't start doing singles until 70, or 7 10 pulls.

I know about the environmental damage, but just regular damage he is taking is far more high than normal. I beating some thiefs, that guys use knifes at long range, but the kid take more damage than my others chars (Amber, Lisa, Traveler and Dillic).

I noted because 90% of the time I use him. I don't even trade my gear after and before the patch. He still using 4 artifacts rank 5 stars. The same gear, locked at lvl 80 because of the AR 44.

The only benefit of doing multiple pulls at once is in the beginner banner, the first 20 pulls. These are 8 items for 10 pulls. Otherwise, it's 10 items for 10 pulls, or the same price of doing singles.

The gacha's pity system automatically gives you a 4* character or item if you don't get one on the same banner after the 9th pull (although the game doesn't really say this anywhere).

The only tangible benefit for doing pulls 10 at a time is that it will save you time not navigating through the menus so much.

I've been out of my main house a few days and couldn't play, and I was convinced it was 11 items for the price of 10, in a multipull. :v

Side thought: I played and still play a few gachas and this one has the shittiest rates and pity system I ever saw.

Interesting. I didn't have any problems with this fight, but then again I have Qiqi for the heals. Hope it doesn't get nerfed down to Stormterror levels of difficulty.

Speaking of Stormterror, are you guys getting glitched off of his neck more and more lately? I feel like the servers are slowly getting laggier. My ping is around 72-80, which is considered green by the game's standard, but lately I've been getting rubber banded around, hits aren't registering, and Stormterror I basically have to swap characters on the ground and then climb his neck. If I swap on his neck my character falls through to the ground and I lose a lot of DPS time. It seems to have gotten significantly worse over the past 2-3 days.

I can't say its fair fight when a boss almost gives IK on my high leveled characters and artifacts. Just think about people with less luck or less time to invest, they probably gonna be massacrated and give up eventually because the recommended level is basically a lie.

As for the lag...I'm suffering alot to change characters, pick itens and specially using characters skills and charged arrows. I hope they fix it soon.

Just did that boss fight yesterday for the story quest. Only had a problem on the last round when he was down to 25%. Was down to my level 40 Barb running while I waited for my revive cool down to reset lol. Same difficulty spike happened when I did it with a group afterward but we prevailed. AR41.

Not sure if you guys know this about the Childe boss fight, but when you get "Targeted" in his last phase by his dive attack(purple circle under your character), if you touch the edge of the arena it causes an "overload" which disables the targeting, letting you safely dodge out of the way.

Okay, so after playing this casually for a week or six I can safely say Breath of the Wild is the infinitely better game between the two.

Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying it, and I really like it for what it is, but literally everything is gated behind a wall of some kind. I still haven't pulled a single interesting character and the game constantly tells me I need to do this or that before I can do the thing I actually want to do. While the game gives you the illusion of freedom in the beginning, you actually don't have a lot of it.

Had this game been a complete €60 game, it might have been better then Breath of the Wild. Right now it's just a really good looking gacha game.

Does anybody know why I can't use my condensed resin? I was using yesterday, but now the game won't ask me anymore.

The condensed resin only works on leyline "blossoms" and the petrified trees in the domains. They do not work on bosses (like the fire/ice flowers or the hypostasis enemies). Make sure you are in a domain or doing leyline's (gold for mora or blue for exp)

I heard "it's just hilichurls or fatui or treasure hunters" and thought, no big deal, I fight these guys all the time anyways. But then when I tried fighting them, it's like constant interruptions, tiny little fighting space, enemies stand outside of fighting space and throw shit at you. Reallllly fucking annoying. Thank god I have Qiqi, I don't think Barbara offers enough healing to do this shit solo. I still don't quite see what's causing me to get interrupted all of the time either. Must be some sort of elemental reaction, but I'm not sure what it is. Seems to happen more on the fire ones, so maybe overloading myself with Razor? How are you guys doing on the meteor event things?

Pity and rates are very bad, it's true. But what really bothers me is the sheer amount of time required to make 1, let alone 10 pulls. Maybe having so few heroes is the real reason for that, but then it will mean that we will need to wait for around a year before we will have big enough roster.

I cant progress and do the damn event on my sons account. I'm trying to do the quest "A Crisis Deepens". Can't because it says "A character is currently involved in other quests". WTF? So my son can't read and barely does quests and has a bunch to do. I have no idea what quest what character may be involved in that's preventing me from doing the event quest.

Any ideas? Right now I'm just trying to do quests and hopefully doing one will trigger the other so I can actually finish it.

I think I had this happen once when I accidentally sent my Traveler on an adventure guild resource-gathering "quest". Might check there.

this happen to me once on another quest there is a little switch to take you to the quest that is pending that I noticed, or it says the quest its waiting on, look for that in quests menu.

Oh wow ok so if you go to the quest that gives the busy character message, and hit UP (On PS5) it specifically tells you what character and quest is holding you up. Sheesh. Good to know I guess. Huai'an is busy completing the quest "Wangshu".

It's just a game design flaw. Game should tell you exactly what character busy in exactly what quest.

I did the first few at 75, but I realized the 5 extra meteor currency isn't worth the hassle, so I did the rest at 65 and it's much easier to handle lol

I did mine on lvl 65(my characters are on 80) and I was just LOL

They put 2 electro archers that shots 5 arrows and two big axe hilicurls that enchanted themselves as soon as the battle started. To make matters worse, the metoriote buffs them so I couldn't interrupt their attacks.

Had to abuse Noelle burst to generate fire shields since the whole grass was on fire and Kayea almost died because of so many elemental reactions.

Gonna wonder whats they gonna throw me next. A full water area with spam of ice and electro archers.
