Cyberpunk gold copies in the wild, PS4 gameplay leaks

yh they could just put that PS4 disc into ps5 and see how it loads. that leaked video lead time was like 45sec that time how long was black screen. wonder how it improves on ps5 just from boost mode without patch.
PS5 is getting its own 'light version' day 1 patch. It won't be running BC/Boost mode anyway.

Honestly would be nice if we had a ballpark date whent he next gen upgrade will drop, not asking anything to specific would be nice to know if it's first half of the year or second. I can't decide if I want to wait or play through one pathway and hope for my second playthrough it drops..

i think cdpr learned from witcher 3. We gonna get a pretty good console ports just at different resolutions. I just need that day 1 patch to have unlocked framerate so that my ps5 can boost it to a stable 60. The rest i can live with.

Simple question... will this game have a PS5 launch option at all? just like in the PS5 you can launch CoD in PS5 or PS4 mode? If so... this will be more than more stable fps and dynamic PS4 pro mode

Will the pc version be equal to the next gen version patch releasing next year or at first similar to current gen versions coming out in December!?

I don’t want to look at any of this stuff as I want to go in blind but this is so interesting because they delayed the game after it went gold which almost never happens. So basically is everything to do with the day one patch.

If they delay it into 2021 these copies are going to be worth thousands of dollars.

Is the next gen patch gonna be day 1 due to the delay?

How many times these questions can be asked?

It will launch on PS5 and XSX via compatibilty mode at launch day.
Next year there will be next gen free patch to bring the game up to next gen standards.

Yes but it could be the "old gen version" just running at better fps. I wonder if it will be considered the next gen version that consoles are getting later

It is all about adding some bells and whistles from the PC version that are not available on the old gen version.

The devs have stated that the game will have better graphics on next gen day 1, with a true next gen patch coming next year.

When you take a look at the recently released One X and Series X gameplay, you can already see that dynamic character shadows are higher quality on Series X.

My guess is that they just increase settings a bit, maybe at 4K native at 30fps on the next gen consoles, I doubt that it will have a 60fps mode.

Although there won't be a proper next gen version until next year, hopefully on PS5 they have at least added the customizations needed to get the best possible improvements in BC mode.
If the game is capped at 30fps/1080p on PS4 and 30fps/1440p on PS4 Pro there won't be a lot of differences compared to PS4 Pro except for a more stable frame rate.
Considering all the struggles they're having to simply release the game this year I doubt they had time to do much.

Ain’t gonna watch cause of media blackout, but I’ve read concerns about mouse cursors on menu’s even with a controller? Can someone who has seen this clarify? Thanks.

They can get specific settings if they want, just like Days Gone, where the same game is running at different resolution and FPS than PS4 Pro. Genshin impact is 30fps on Pro and 60 on PS5. So developers can know if it’s running on PS4 or PS5

That looks way better on PS4 than I was expecting tbh especially considering that it's running without any patches. It'll be interesting to see how it handles the city.

Yeah i was scared because on the XOX gameplay there was some lag even with the player moving and driving really slow. Now i think it will be fixed with the day 1 patch, or maybe it was a video error.

I hope it's nothing like GTA.
Please.

The more recent previews pretty much spell out that it's an Open-World RPG with Missions that give a great deal of flexibility in terms of how you can resolve them in a similar vein to Deus Ex, so thankfully nothing like any of Rockstars recent efforts wherein if you even remotely veer off the prescribed path it's an automatic mission fail.

i hope it runs well on the base PS4 , am not planning to buy a PS5 next year

Even games far less demanding than this run bad on ps4 now. The console is just old. Even Pro is a steaming pile of garbage and 2x more powerful than standard ps4.
