- I don't have this issue, my storefront on Steam is cheap as hell. Cyberpunk and new games cost me alot less than you westerners at launch. I live in the west but I am a dual citizen. Cyberpunk is $29 for me. So all my third parties are bought on PC. PS exclusives are given out with PS Plus and I have every Sony Exclusive from last gen minus TLOU II and GOT because a PS5 upgrade is imminent or a sale if not. People buy what they buy out of impulse. I save and buy what I want when I want it at a better price. Perhaps these same games will come to PC. Waiting is good.

The cost opportunity of buying a PS5 with some exclusives vs. A PC GPU with better features for $200-500 is more alluring since these GPUs made consoles obsolete the moment they were announced. And I get 5 years out of it too.

PS5 exclusives will still have better visuals than anything on PC.

1. I had a PS4 Pro and I sold it knowing full well PS5 exclusives will work on them.
2. I have a PS3 with tons of unique games I care to finish from my backlog and don't want PS Now
3. I have a PC with 400+ bought games and a 1080 that I will replace eventually
4. I did not have a TV or Monitor that was this gen ready - decided with the LG CX and not the G9 Odyssey (this is worth more than the console) in every way as an upgrade to me.
5. Console fanboys crying about hardware malfunctions and launch units being faulty.
6. Thing is large and ugly, only my PC should be able to do that.
7. PS5 has 2 exclusives and 1 of them is also on the Pro. So essentially you guys are paying for Demon Souls that I still have to play on PS3.
8. Lmao, seen recent threads pop up on here talking about resolution and framerate. Made me laugh.
9. Finding out about the price has nothing to do with buying it, I can wait when they are in stock.
10. The PS5 value right now is dog tier, in my subjective opinion outside of the DualSense.
11-100. Knack 3 isn't out yet.

I understand why it derives value but its almost 100% out of affordability. I DON'T have this issue either. Besides, PS3 Phat is still the best Sony console in existence IMO.

I don't know about US,EU or elsewhere, but man here in AUS, the hype is through the roof. I just came back from the JB-HIFI store here in Brisbane. While I was browsing through the PS4 games section. There were at least 10 people (families) asking if they can place an order on PS5. A fella at the gaming desk told me its been insane. They can't even take pre-orders any more.

I was (still am) hyped about the PS5. I loved the Astrobot and the controller "gimmicks". My 2 daughters also had a blast playing it. Didn't play Demon's Souls on PS3 and MM looks spectacular on PS5. I am also super stoked about playing PS4 games at the higher/more stable refresh rates . Ps plus Collection has at least 5 games that I didn't manage to play on PS4. Loading times are also insane. Look. I am at the stage of my life where $750 Dollaroos not going to break the bank and still enjoying playing video games. My first few weeks with PS5 have been nothing but the super fun.
