eh, the difference in resolution is not that big, however playing at a locked 60fps compared to 50-51 FPS is much worse especially if you play in a performance mode. Do you know what the goal of a performance mode is?

PS5 is the definitive version of this game confirmed. But at least XSX version is fine too.

If you find it too blurry on XSX, you can still go 30 fps quality mode like Shinobi did.

I love the irony or Xbox players having to play 30 fps mode after all those months of bragging about paper specs though.

The resolution difference can’t be noticed anyways, since it’s very rare and most of the time the same.

They clearly said:

They even redid the torch scene and compared it to pre patch.....

Yes. All this dumb talk about the most powerful console. If PS5 performs better in most games like we see now, it's probably because... it's the most powerful console overall.

A console is a lot more than a raw GPU / CPU number of teraflops. There are tons of other parameters like custom hardware, caches and APIs. PS5 was just designed better. Consoles are not PCs, they may be designed the way you want.

If raw number of teraflops always meant the console was more powerful, we wouldn't have seen the 360 clearly beating PS3 in multiplatform games, because the PS3 had a lot more teraflops.

720p on the series S is pretty messed up tbh. this is a next gen console. 4 FULL RDNA 2.0 tflops. 3.4 ghz CPU. 2.4 gbps SSD. Velocity architecture. This simply shouldnt happen.

The XSX still got an upgrade here, I'm sure nobody would notice the little reduction in resolution while actually being in the middle of a combat. Stutter or tearing are far worse!
Overall a good patch on all sides, despite all the misinformation up front.

But it's so funny how the downclocking and 9TF narrative has completely disappeared.

No. I never expected a difference that substantial at all. All that was were hardcore Xguys feelin themselves after the teraflops win. That's not true. Assassin's Creed Origins was considered one of the best looking games at the time when it came out.
