I admire CDPR for what they did with the endings. Each one so different, there was always something unique.

During my playthrough I got the Star ending, which I think is the best even if bitter sweet.

They even had the courage to

which would allow you to have more than 6 months. You know, like a proper GOOD ending. Even the witcher got one.

Always end up watching someone play on PC on youtube with ultra settings enabled and ray tracing. Looks unbelievably good especially with those guys adding reshade mods.

Not everything needs a happy ever after. The whole game is about mortality, legacy and death, and how you deal with it's inevitable approach. Besides, as Cassidy says - bad thoughts are cheap, but they smear over the truth like mud. V will most likely be back in expansions where they will solve the problem of a limited lifespan/not having a physical body one way or the other.

I played on PS5, absolutely loved the game and while it ran amazingly smooth and relatively bug free (outside of crashes obviously). The crashes at times would get to be pretty annoying and immersion breaking. I had a total of 36 crashes according to the error log, and I had almost exactly 85 hours played. The problem is that some areas of the map crash a lot more than others, so while you may go 5 hours without a crash in one area, provided you stay in that area, you’ll be getting a crash every 45 minutes to an hour in another area like Japantown. The benefit for me being that the PS5 load times are ridiculous so jumping right back into the game took no time at all. You’re not going to get the same experience with load times even on a PS4 Pro.

If you really want to play, go for it, just giving you an idea of what you may have to deal with. You’ve managed to wait this long, If wait a bit longer you’ll have a better experience.

Did any of you got Satori (Saburo Arisaka Katana) at Konpeki Plaza?

I upgraded it to legendary and it lost DPS after (it went from 5 attacks per second to 3.14). Is this normal or a known bug?

I sport the legendary corpo armor set, where to find it and how to get max slots using save/load, is well documented on the net if you search for it. Then I just manufacture Armadillo armor mods (the blueprint drops in many side crime random missions around the map). It's a white bp, but when manufacturing it also creates blue and purple mods, how many depends on your level. At 3500, I can also afford to spend 2-3 slots on 30% crit chance mods.

Crit Chance and Crit Damage didn't stack apparently

The game looks and runs really good on the Pro, but I'm having constant crashes. Cant play more than 1h without a crash.
In a game like this, where you aim to spend a lot of time with it, its really a bummer.

The game needs some QOL improvements. Let me selet multiple items to sell diassemble or move. Also i should just be able to put things in storage from the menu.

Fn cyberpsychosis. Intried farming it and still couldnt get it. Anyone with some tips on voodoo boys to get it or a netrunner i can buy it from? I have pretty much cleared out the entire area of missions. I cant just buy the blue prints somewhere?

Are you doing all the datapoints? I can't confirm this is the optimal way but I rushed the money perk and the one that has a chance to download quick hacks. Probably had it way before I even noticed. I had most if not all QHs available before I even hit 20 in Intelligence.

That is really glitchy, my first 70 hours it only started working near the end. Now on a new playthrough no quick hacks are dropping through like 30 hours. It has something to do with The Gift quest and quest Ping quickhack. I think one of the updates fixed it, then another broke it. 1.4-1.6.

Reached the point of no return. Act 2 end quests were quite cool, but probably not as shocking as Act 1 ending. Still great though.
Now I'm busy cleaning out the world and testing random things.

I wouldn't be so sure. When C77 released most of devs went on vacations with only few remaining for those hotfixes. Now it is January 12. Basically 7 work days assuming most of them got back. Honestly i would expect something more like 15th or 20th. 7 work days is not even enough for proper QA before patch release.

It will be probably tied to "free DLC" which was announced previously.

I'm pretty much done with the game so I used console commands. Not sure if it's obtainable through normal means.

So pretty much anything that npcs wear can be equipped ( with console)? Is it worn like a special outfit ( that goes "over" what you're wearing...like Netrunner or Arasaka Hazmat suit), or like regular clothing ( boots, trousers, etc)
They should really add this as buying option into the game.

One small gripe in a game I've been loving, bugs aside--they really need better/more map icons.

Having one generic one for jobs makes it hard to find specific content around the map. Lame having the same marker for side jobs, gigs and cars available to purchase. I'm at the point of wanting to finish up side jobs (especially the cyberpsychos quest line) and it's hard perusing the map for all the car clutter, having no way of knowing if an undiscovered one is a boring gig, a new side job or a cyberpsycho quest part).

Also not a big fan of quests coming in through random calls as it makes it hard to tell how much decent content is left before pushing through the point of no return. That said, I know it just pops you back into the world at that point so I'm getting closer to just finishing it up as I'm getting a bit burnt out. Can always polish off more side quests after a break and hopefully the next gen upgrade being out.

Question: I don't want to miss any major questlines that impact the ending if I do push through. I've completed (i.e. gotten the achievement) for the questlines for: Panam, River Ward, Judy and Kerry. Am I missing any other major ones that impact the ending? Thanks!

Changed my mind about side gigs. They are wonderful when you dont want to deal with dialogue heavy quests. I stopped at the diner before meeting River Ward this morning and just had no mood for it yet so went and did side gigs around the area. Loot, cool little slice of life shards and getting to know the fixer of the area. Very chill session.

Yep. I’m super glad I canceled my physical preorder of the PS4 version (have a PS5) and waited a few days for impressions and opted for the XSX. I’ve had had 2 crashes in nearly 60 hours played. My friends on PS5 and PS4 Pro have had a shit ton of crashes.

Alright, think I hit all the ! point side quests I had on the map (still some SoS etc. merc markers around), finally finished all the cyberpsychos and boxing quest lines and have my quest log empty other than a Happy Together quest that's been bugged since early on (can't talk to the cops which is the next step, and seems a common bugged quest from some searching). Per the answer to my questin above about the major quest lines that impact the endings and pretty sure I'm done with that.

A bit over 60 hours played and I'll push through the point of no return and finish up the game next time I can play for a while (hopefully tomorrow night). Have had a blast with it, but ready to shelve it until the next gen update and play some other things.

I'm convinced that if this game just released on new gen and PC the reception would have been much better. They still need to patch a lot of things in but the Series X fixes a lot of technical issues. I have a few frame dips here and there but overall it has been a pretty smooth experience.
