It'd be cool if they had events where resin regen rate doubled for a week or something. Low effort on their part, and would really drive up player engagement for that week, and make people happy. They must still be working out the kinks on the resin pass though, so I doubt we'll ever see something like that.

Its actually an interesting idea. Not sure they would do that though...from the look of this "we heard your cries" feels like they have no intention of changing that, just continue with events free of resin charges.

So a few rumors from reddit, take with a grain of salt. It sounds like fanfiction a little too much for me to believe it wholesale, but take what you will from it:

Q3: We'd like to use controllers on iOS devices... QAQ
A3: Version 1.3+ devices with OS upgraded to iOS 14 or higher will support the Xbox Wireless Controller (Bluetooth Version), Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and iOS-specialized Bluetooth controllers (partial support)!
That is unfortunate, but 🤞 this was translated incorrectly. Not having support for hardware direct MFI controllers (like the Game Vice line and Razer offerings) creates the need for an additional device holder while you are using a wirelessly connected device. Also no mention of android HID support at all is a bummer. Hopefully the features set is a bit more robust come release.

I see lots of QoL but absolutely nothing about actual new features. All I got was "wait for electro and ice Gods for Diablo 2 crossover".

Thanks for sharing that. I can definitely see some of this happening. (grain of salt)
The only thing that really bugs me is the possibility of that old noblesse set making it into the game as it was super broken. Obviously over time there will be more artifact diversity but I hope the old sets will still see some use.

I'm holding out for Hu Tao or maybe Xiao (did I say his name right?). I think I'm close to pity.

Anyone having fun with this boss event? I'm just fine ramping it up to the point where it could be frustrating but clearable. I think the frustration sets in for this game when you end up in some dead-end kinda grind -- I'm having plenty of fun leveling up the characters I've pulled so far. Workin on Beidou at the moment. I've kept my game locked at AR 45 and it's been a good decision imo.

I enjoy the boss stuff, but I've been pretty much doing it co-op with friends, which makes just about anything better. I wish it wasn't the same bosses we've been fighting the entire game though, or at least a boss that doesn't spend half of its time on the field completely immune to damage. At least since it's timed. I do feel like the game needs some challenging content that isn't time gated, but I'm not exactly sure how that would work, and apparently MHY isn't either.

Regarding AR45, I agree. I stopped there a few months ago now and I feel it was completely the right choice. I have almost every character I like to 80 now, will be digging in to weapons/talents over the next few weeks. Once I get down to only needing artifacts, I'll finally uncap 45.

Holy shit my last 10 wishes I got Xiangling, Keqing, Razor, and another Ganyu (she's C1 now) from the character banner. Never had luck anything like that before. Maybe because I was bitching I was going to stop playing because of the resin garbage lol.

I envy you. I'm here waiting for Xiangling and the only thing they give me is countless 3 star swords.

Betting everything on "bullshit".
why on earth would you not want more resin? You can just craft condensed and double your output for the same amount of time in the game.
It already "forces" me to grind uninteresting stuff too much. Resin is tied to the most boring parts of this game.

I like using condensed resin when I run domains/ley lines. If I am going to blow 160 resin on artifacts or exp I might as well do it faster with the condensed resin. Makes my daily rotation much faster when I am finished with the monthly content. I get the same amount of drops (if not more) using condensed resin while spending 1/4 of the time.

Yeah it happens. Just a little before that in fact I had hit hard pity and was given the mighty Lions Roar. I usually seem to get a purple at the 8th or 9th wish, but this one went the full 10 and then gave me a piece of trash weapon. Absolutely hate that. I wish they would just put the weapons on a separate banner...they could call it a "weapon banner" or something crazy like that.

As far as I am concerned it's just going to be Xiao and Hu Tao in 1.3. Maybe we will see the Chasm as it's part of Liyue but other then that I don't think we are going to see much.

Chasm is a toss-up though.

At the very least, that lantern festival is all but confirmed, so that will be something to do. And the tower defense minigame. I don't think Chasm will be 1.3, I'm guessing 1.4 before we go to Inazuma which likely will be 1.6.

Exactly, and I do the same.
Condensed Resin it's their way to say "we know the farming is shit, here's something to halve it".

I find it dumb to give us a second eastern-themed zone so close to the other. More (allegedly) grasslands and more eastern architecture. They should have released the desert or french water zone, in my opinion, to give more variety.
For me, anyway, it's a plus. Meadows, beaches, grasslands and forests are by far my favourite enviroment. Don't like snow zones at all and deserts are kinda meh usually. I also love eastern settings. So I'll personally be happy. But still. Variety.

I think 1.3 will likely just be the festival and a couple of events. And that's it. If they want to stay true to their story framework when we do get to Inazuma(being listed as Chapter 2) I imagine the patches will match it so Inazuma may very well release on 2.0.

If there is anything I look forward to then it is Dendro element characters. I'm really interested in what their gameplay will be like.

I prefer fighting normal hypstatis. The higher difficulties and rewards are out of reach with my current party levels, so that takes some enjoyment out.

I did make a big effort on the second boss- took several tries with 'perfect' technique to kill it in the 180s time limit with most of the other things on. But that only gave me ~200 extra points compared to 300sec limit .. The rewards just aren't worth it really

..AR45 - just got there. The higher rewards like chunks of X from bosses seem rare (lI did geo-hypostatis 3 times today and got one) which makes me inclined to go higher. I don't have anything like the experience books to contemplate that yet.

Just want to say thanks to everyone who has shared tips and whatnot in this thread. I read through it, in its entirety, about a week ago before playing the game for the first time. I knew what to expect, what things were, what I needed to do to progress how I wanted to progress, etc.

Thank you, good stuff. I would have been a little confused on my own. Lots of "you need to do this to get this for that" going on.

Really loving the game. 20 hours in so far, haven't spent real money yet but might put 5 or 10 bucks in at some point soon. I love the mechanics, it ticks a lot of gaming boxes that keep me motivated to keep playing a game daily. Good stuff.

Goddamn, that fight at Nine Pillars... WTF they were thinking. BARELY did it with Ganyu (aimed shots to stop attacks) and Klee.

Died 3 times on flying guardian. In the end I said fuck it to destroying last beacon and just overpowered last 30% of guardian's fire shields with Klee.

Why stone guardians using fire shields? That's some bullshit. I probably should have used water and electric abilities, but I didn't had it in me to switch characters. Woof, game can be tough if you don't switch or have nothing to switch to.

Mona and Maid are definitely next in line for leveling... D:

I did it doing aimed shots from Fischl from the stairs lol. Think I did it in version 1.0, lower world level.

It managed to make its way up the stairs a couple of times but was able to lure it back down.

Watch out, that challenge is bugged.
If you flee from it, the game may respawn another guardian(I think I saw a max of 3).
Also, destroying the beacons may force the guardian to come back to its original point(even if you're next to it), fully restoring his health.
I had to beat it with the fire aura on.

Can't remember which one was that.

Edit: Oh right, I remember. Nah, the one in Quingce's Village cave was much worse.
Not for me because Klee just destroys anything that isn't fire. Village cave fight was finished without deaths in my party. Nine pillars fight was bad because guardians had fire shields and I refused to switch/eat atk food. Mostly my fault, but switching characters is annoying if you can complete 99% of content without switching.

Most annoying enemies for me are small fire flowers, especially when they're in a group. I desperately need to lvl up cocogoat and other characters. Klee is bae, but every once in awhile game throws a fire resistant curve ball at you.

Yeah, I ignored fire aura on all enemies because I had cocogoat. But flying guardian was too strong for her. Finished him with Klee.

How that fight went in a nutshell:

Feel free to ask any questions you have. More than happy to help

If you're going to support the game with at least 5-10$
You could do 1 of 2 things:

1) Buy the blessing of the moon - 90gems per day + 300 crystals. Caveat being you have to log in everyday or you lose the 90 for that day
2) Battle pass - Tons of materials and other rewards based on completing objectives daily, weekly, or for the pass - note it's also getting buffed with fragile resin next month

if you're diligent upon login in daily I'd recommend getting the welkin pass because over time the gems will add up. Over the course of several months, you should be able (through events, dailies, etc) to attempt to pull a 5* of your choice.

I don't recommend doing Abysm dungeons though. Waste of time.

Too many dumb rules, stupid time limits and now in retarded mode aka "while protected by a shield, then X. Plz use geo characters".

Im so fucking dumb. Just now i realised that the Childe boss fight is farmable once a week. I tought it was part of the story :D. I have been doing the 2 other weekly fights every week and missing out the free loot of Childe since it appeared in the game.
And i just noticed that becase im raising my Cocogoat talents and then i was WTF is this item she needs and i dont have? Yeah, it only drops in the Childe boss fight. :p

You can also do Crimson Wish every week until you hit tree level 12

Farming artifacts is such a bore. Just keep doing the same domains over and over, so you can get the same flower from the wrong set with bad stats to boot. And then, when you finally get one with decent stats, it always randomly upgrades the one substat you didn't need. That's more money and exp wasted.

It's a miracle that I was able to build Klee as quickly as I did. At least she makes farming bearable.
