I really don't understand why companies rework characters, it's rarely, if ever, recieved favorably. Look at Cole's first Infamous 2 reveal. Look at Dante in DmC. Look at Crash in Crash of the Titans. Tidus in FFX HD. Or the perpetual hell of Resident Evil redesigns.

I'm pretty sure people are getting upset about nothing. There was never a "default" face for female Shepard until ME3, there was only a "default" face for male Shepard (underwear model) since the first game. All they seem to be doing is letting you retcon that female "default" face for the earlier games. The "old" fem Shepard is just the custom female character preset.

Male shepard va is trash. Women are always better at voice acting. There's a reason Jennifer Hale is one of the best voice actors in the industry. She didn't get to be that with no talent. Her delivery is far better and more emotive. His is just flat. I can't play male Shep because of how DRY he sounds. He's a boring white male and people are TIRED of seeing the same old "white, heterosexual, male" characters.

I only played Fem Shep when I was playing evil. Just made more sense.

As a ME fan this comment is 100% accurate. The voice acting of Jeniffer Hale is amazing when playing renegade FemShep. Shepard has a much nicer voice tone perfect for parangon runs.
