RE7 :pie_smiling_hearts:

At this rate I'm not sure if REmake 2 will get the first place.
Both are starting to sell really close even when one is almost a year old than the other.

RE8 will probably push more RE7 than REmake 2.

Man, Capcom is so meticulous with its game sales stats recently. We get new numbers every week it seems. They’re living their golden age at the moment, certainly. MHW was like a gift from heavens, it was cult series before but who could’ve predicted it would explode into mainstream like this. I loved my time with it and see clearly why it took off.

They have a RE7+RE8 bundle coming that I think will push a bit RE7 sales, and even without bundle some people who may buy RE8 may buy RE7 after it.

I think RE2R won't outsell RE7.

Capcom always updates this two pages every 3 months with the data from the new quarter.

Yes, they are better than ever, I want to highlight Street Fighter V announcing it sold 200K units more in a quarter, 5 years after release and becoming the 8th best selling Capcom ever (and 2nd best selling Capcom fighting game ever) when it only has been released on a single console. The game had a rocky start but with tons of improvements, fixes and new content now the game is awesome and continues growing. I assume many PS5 customers who didn't have a PS4 will now buy it.

Every quarter they update the list... it takes one or two months after the quarter ends.

Wish all publishers gave us this much detail. Capcom is set to have a very good 2021 so will be interesting to see this data again in 12 months.

sure hope capcom takes the message to make both re7 style first person resident evil and third person resident evil, as there is a demand for both (and I know I'll get both)

Surprised RE4 isn't on the top 10 just given how many platforms its been ported to and how good it is. Maybe its remake will do RE2R numbers

It really took Capcom until last gen to come up with a bigger seller than SF2 SNES? That's amazing (for SF2).

Man those SF5 numbers are a big oof. Even with how much bigger gaming is today it can't even outsell a SF SNES port. Meanwhile MK11 has already outsold SF5.

It's nice to see the more horror oriented RE games doing well, after the mistakes that were 5 & 6.

That is what they are doing...

Main RE: first-person
REmake: third-person

But seems like REmake 3 under performed so they choose to delay REmake 4.
Seems fine... it give them time to REthing about how rushed they tried to do REmake 3 that ended being a bad REmake lacking everything the original had.

REmake 2 was rushed too but at least the cut off were way smaller than REmake 3.

DMC 3 really is 79th behind the rest of the series?

That seems crazy to me. It goes V, 4, DmC, 1, 2, 3

Well it sold better than SFIV for example...
And the difference to SFII is about 1 million only... it is not like SFV stopped selling and SFII figure are a few years only.
I think it is fine.

I'm glad RE3make got decent numbers, maybe thats even great numbers considering how there was a lot of asset reuse for the zombies and set dressing.

Wow MHW really shot the series into the stratosphere!

I wonder how much Rise will sell. Probably like hot cakes, especially in Japan.

Likewise, I think it has a very good shot of approaching MHW's numbers. Japan is a big part of it but also because MHW brought in a ton of new folks in the west to the series.
