I can't believe people are that stupid enough to complain about the game being $40 and claiming it's going to be bad and a short game. Are people that stupid? So a price of a game classifies a game and how it is??

Edit: since I don't have a PS5 I might get it on PC.

I'm very happy with that price, I don't even mind if its 6 hours (for 100%) for that price I don't want it to outstay its welcome.

I think 5-6 hours is more realistic for the story length, maybe extended to 8-10 for 100%. I think if you hope for 10-12 hour main story you will be disappointed unfortunately, unless the game design incorporates repetition or backtracking or some other way to lengthen it. Price just seems to good to be true for it to be really long given the quality of the art/assets/animations and the it being the studios first release.

Seems like a win-win, honestly.

Cheap price, game looks great, seems very charming. Can't wait to Plat it on PS5. Even if it is just an 8-10 hour affair (which I have no idea whether that is true or not), still seems like it will be a good time.

I was already interested but the latest trailer really sold me. Bummed to hear people saying it’s going to be short, but glad to see it appropriately priced.

Yeah, its even stupider when its an open world game with tons of extra content beyond the main story, in one of those articles they say Just Cause 3 is $1.68 per hour and I played that game for over 100 hours, but thats hardly the amount of time most people will spend with it.

RE3 remake is a good example of how thats skewed as well, I always read and examine everything during the first playthough, so my first playthrough was 10 hours but then when I skipped all the optional stuff and ran everywhere it was like 4 hours long. After I had bonus items it was 2 hours and once I knew the perfect path it was 1:15-1:45. Not sure which time is the "true" length of the game out of those times, but for me the examining the world and the lore is a huge part of what I like about the game. Running everywhere and not stopping on my first playthrough feels like fast forwarding a film for me in most games, but particularly in RE games.

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife
I'm still not sold on this one. Game looks comfy and pretty, but I don't know about the actual gameplay.

Glad to see the are honest devs when it comes to pricing their games tho, good for them.

RE3 remake, and Vanquish, are 2 of the few games that have absolutely zero filler and a pacing I would consider perfect. I beat both games more than once in one day once I got the hang of them. But these games are skill based, you can become extremely proficient in Vanquish and even RE3 with its evade mechanic you can speed run. Its by far the best RE to speedrun and to watch it. I have the platinum and for that I beat Inferno in about 1:45. Ofcourse with coins and launcher. I didn't pay full buck for RE3 though, compared to 2 it does lack content especially if the online mode isn't your thing and I thought it was trash.

Kena is a slower paced action adventure, probably not about skill. If its like 8-10 hours and 12-15 with doing all side stuff then its fine with me really. As long as the game is fun and has good pacing. But we'll have to see, I don't know what to expect from this developer.

Mario 3 and Sonic 3 take an hour to beat but they're my favorites. I prefer short games that are ultra high quality to 100 hour side quest filled games.

The fact that they tried to justify selling Returnal for £70 is a joke, it's a Indie game that's £30 at best from what I've seen.

Jena on the other hand looks fantastic
Even in a thread that’s not about returnal someone has to cry about it’s price like get over it. It’s not changing so either move on with your life or wait for a price drop.

What actually has anyone excited for this game?

The pre-rendered cut scenes?

The fact it's from a company formed by 2 guys who never made a game?

The incredibly generic 20 seconds of gameplay footage?
I don’t understand people like you. Why do you feel the need to shit on people hyped for this game like damn it’s childish. You don’t think the game is worthy of being hyped good for you but let people be hyped for whatever they want it’s not any of your business

$12 here.

Bought it just in case it's a price/conversion mistake. Hate the EGS but 🤷🏾‍♂️

Nah that's probably just the price. EGS is great with regional pricing, there have been several games which have been way cheaper on their store than on Steam.

And with any luck they might have some coupon at some point making it even cheaper. Between the regional pricing and coupon I got Dragon Ques 11 S definitive for like $7 when it launched on PC

I've always said that EGS needs to compete with other storefronts on the PC in ways other than just moneyhatting exclusives and superior pricing (and superior regional pricing) is certainly one way to do it. I just wish they would do this without feeling the need to also moneyhat games.

Its $20 for the EGS normal edition, dirt cheap like medium on PC. granted im on GPU, so medium is 'free' :messenger_poop:

still between this and Medium, imo Kena looks more polish and fun...

Seriously, it looks as good as any 60/70$ game (much better actually)... I assumed it was an AAA game.

It's probably the game I am the most hyped for at the moment, I hope it's good.
Yeah it looks like a true next generation game, only because the animation looks so fluid. Can’t wait to play it on PC.

hmmm, for 40 bucks...maybe 30 if Epic gives away a 10 dollar coupon might be worth a shot.
