Beat me to it. I think even a dlc for Spider-Man 2 where you play as Venom would be cool.They already own Venom in the movies, so why not in gaming?

Not a terrible idea although I think The Insomniac or Horizon Devs would be a better fit than Naughty Dog’s mostly small scale open worlds. To do Superman you need global scale and a huge budget plus everything needs to be destructible. It’s bullshit if Superman can’t fly to space or level a building let alone punch a hole in a wall or indestructible crate. If supes doesn’t have godlike power that he chooses not to use it’s just a dude who can fly and shoot lasers out of his eyes.After doing great with Spiderman, SONY just showed they can do great super hero games.
So who would you want they GET next & who is the developer?
For me I'd like Naughty Dog to take on Old Superman game.
Nobody has ever done a good Superman game from what I know & maybe only Naughty Dog can do him justice.
Superman has to be old & not that too powerful so they can confine him game play wise.
Or you have other better ideas you'd like to share.

If it wasn't owned by Disney, I would have said this show my youngest watches - Miraculous, Tales of Ladybug - as the main character's move set would map to their Spiderman really easily.
Her special ability to restore the messed up city of Paris in an instant would also fit their IO complex solution for rapidly reloading the world .

Actually a Batman 66 universe game would be a real head trip. Campy, action, open world, classic villains, set in an older America. Come to think of it, has there ever been a Batman game set in this time period/universe?

An Ant-Man/Giant Man game would be amazing if done right. It would need some novel design, but it is something that could be really interesting and I'd love to see that. And for my suggestion, I'll say they could definitely have an fascinating take on TMNT. Four Ninja with different specialties jumping around the back alleys, abandoned old buildings, and underground of the city!like to see Antman game that utilize the ssd to generate level(when going big and small) like rachet and clank does.
the animation sequence when changing size could be the 2 second 'portal'
give it to insomniac since they already has expertise in this area. gameplay wise it would be fun game.

Why not do a game that centers around Gambit back home down south? Give him a city surrounded by a rural area for variety. He isn't overpowered and is agile enough to traverse the landscape well enough.

If not, to Santa Monica. I would like to see them giving Cory a new IP and work at the same time in this Wolverine game and a new God of War.
Naughty Dog would get DC's Super Dog (Krypto) because they noticed they weren't inclusive enough because their games didn't include furries. Krypto instead of being an actual Dog would be a green skinned non-binary furry self identified as a unicorn and with 'zhey' as pronoum who kills white hetero cis males because zhey feels oppresed by them.

They wont get any others after what they have done with spiderman when trying to pull out of the MCU. Despite how well the games were recieved. Marvel wont give them anything outside the spiderman universe (other then cameo).
DC wont license anything to them to play second fiddle to marvel characters. Also Warner bros games have a license rights to everything DC.

No, Marvel said they gave the Spider-Man game to Sony because they wanted to have a Spider-Man game with the quality levels from their first party games. Before or after purchasing Insomniac, Spider-Man was a Sony game since day one.
As long as Spider-Man continues as the best selling and best rated superhero game since released and their next games like Morales keep getting top sales and ratings, Marvel will continue wanting more games from Sony.

Marvel or disney dont care about those sales. They would rather have control over one of the biggest chracters the have. Sony was awarded the spiderman license in a long court battle between movie studios if i recall.
I could see them going outside marvel or DC

You are asking an inevitable here. They still have Spiderman 2, Spiderman 3 etc to do and maybe they'll have Venom as DLC, side game or as a PS6 title and start that series, who knows. So the why not has more to do with, they are still working on Spiderman. I don't believe its because they don't want to or anything. The ground work exist for it, so I'd argue its more likely after a few other Spiderman games.
Semi OT, I never really got the Venom comics lol, I get he is sorta a misunderstood anti hero and from Spiderman's perspective he is bad in it or something.

The 2019 movie of Venom is probably the first material I see for this character, although seen a lot of photos about him here and there. I think he can coexist outside Spider-man like the movie without clashing with him, so they can invest in him and have a truly different path than what the comics suggest or even the movies.
The actor, Tom Hardy, is just one of my best comedic actors, of course he'll be expensive to be in a game.

I dont know what they would be expected to say. Alot happened after the first game. I dont think anyone had made a spiderman game outside of gameloft on mobile in years. And the threat to pull out the mcu happened after spiderman had released.

Wolverine could be done by Santa Monica. With their expertise on GOW this one's no brainer.
