Sony seem to have shifted their marketing focus to games coming out no later than a year/year and a half after these shows. Presuming they have a show sometime in the next few weeks I'd expect to see some combination of things they plan on releasing up until the end of 22' and not further. Safe guesses-
Focus on Games out in 21'-
Horizon- open world exploration gameplay slice/trailer and release date
Death Stranding PS5- gameplay trailer and release date
Stray- new trailer and release date
Little Devil Inside- new trailer and release date
GTA5 PS5- full reveal and date, timed release or content exclusivity to PS5
'Surprise' I really want to be real for 21'-
Bloodborne enhanced PS5 and PC with 60 FPS, enhanced textures, resolution, and raytracing
Games they could show for 22'-
Forspoken- updated gameplay trailer and release window
GoW2- gameplay reveal and release window
Gran Turismo- gameplay reveal and release window
Factions or TLOU Remake- gameplay reveal and dev interview

Square-Enix registered the trademark in Europe a couple of years back, making people believe a remake was on the cards. There was also a Parasite Eve poster in the teaser trailer for the FF7 remake, but other than that, nothing.
Us Europeans got Parasite Eve 2, but not the first one. I'm told the first game is superior.

Not sure what I find most amusing, this decent effort troll or the fact that the game’s they announce are good, sell, appreciated by gamers, and seem to piss you off this much.
Then again it must be sarcasm as you are hitting on too many troll propaganda points (nice touch on the out of context BS generations quote, this only needed a valour to the latest E3 being Xbox 360 peak days greatness to touch on all the latest astroturfing / MS PR talking points) otherwise… just too good

Absolutely. The first game is a masterpiece. I imported it way back in 1998, but its also possible to buy it from US Store on PS3. It had a real x-mas themed NYC setting, took place in a few days. Very cinematic, and more RPG like than 2. If they remaster PE at some point, will be a rights issue, then they do need to fix the walking speed though.

I see that in this event they can showcase GoWR gameplay, new Horizon trailer to announce the release date, announce TLOU2 Factions, Spider-Man 2, Dragon Quest XII as a timed or total exclusive, the Firewalk 2nd party AAA new IP, Dragon's Dogma 2, Death Stranding Director's Cut full reveal and at the end Kojima reveals that he's the Turkish guy working on Abandoned, game whose real name is... Knack 3!
So I think there's no pressure on them. They may show soon trailers of games coming the next few months for their console as they should due to normal marketing process and marketing deals with 3rds, but they can afford to save big hyping announcements for later once the normal console stock is back to the stores.
They are breaking gaming history records in many areas and literally they are producing all the consoles they can and they sell out in a few minutes. They skipped E3 and I'd say it's the only company with different serious 2021 and 2022 GOTY contenders and also the platform holder with the biggest amount of green metacritic exclusives for the rest of 2021 and 2022.
So I think there's no pressure on them. Just played some GOT today, which i didn't since a while, wow this game is so ridiculously incredible it's insane, people can keep bragging about gamepass or some services, but in the end of the day it's about the games and the quality of those games.
Hopefully btw Sony has also some Japanese games deals in store, cause all those generic panpan western games are getting way too boring.

PSX is usually in December. So perhaps they are not going to have any events and just media for things like Horizon Trailer with release date. Death Stranding Release Date and details in PSBlog. State of Play for Kena and Deathloop.
