PS4 controllers (x3) disconnecting help??

Sorry if this isn't allowed here. I just got a used PS4 a few weeks ago. Up until now it has been working fine playing Bloodborne but I just started playing Death Stranding today and my controllers keep disconnecting. yes, controllers. all three of them:

Controller #1 - used V2 black that came with the console. has drifting on the right stick so the shop i bought the console from replaced it with...
Controller #2 - used V1 grey. this is the controller i've been using for the last couple weeks. no issues until today.
Controller #3 - brand new V2 black bought from amazon only a couple weeks ago. only used it for 5 minutes to test it when i got it. i just wanted a spare controller so i didn't need to play wired or wait for controller to charge.

I was playing with controller #2 when i noticed it was lagging and disconnecting. used controller #3 and there was no more lagging but during cutscenes it disconnects. sometimes the light on the controller goes off and a prompt comes up on the screen or the light will stay on but the controller is unresponsive. so now i tried controller #1. apart from drifting it should work fine but it is the same as controller #3.

when i got the PS4 i cleaned it out of dust, replaced thermal paste/pads, a new CMOS battery, and put a 1TB SSD in to replaced the 500GB HDD. done a fresh clean install of the OS. so it runs silent. playing games it is warm but i definitely would say it's by any means hot. again, has been working fine until today. i tried disconnecting/forgetting the controllers and resetting them by pressing the pinhole. no luck. so it has to be something with the console itself.

I'm not sure what else I can do to try fix it. any advice???

Have you recently got any new wireless devices, bluetooth or otherwise? Also, I get lag on my Dualsense on the PC when I block the path to the bluetooth adapter, because its a cheapie one. The DS4 with the official adapter rarely had that problem.

Have you moved further away from the PS4 suddenly? Maybe you are on the edge of the BT range now.

If you account for that stuff then you might've bumped/damaged something inside it when you had it open. I say that just because you mentioned it, maybe you do that all day and its unlikely you would damage something.

no new devices. I did think maybe it was my iPad cause if I have that on my desk it causes my XB1 controller to disconnect from my pc. I put the iPad in another room but didnt help.

no I’m sitting at my usual place. my ps4 is about 8ft Away from the controller.

well I’m no expert but I feel quite confident dealing with hardware. I can build or take apart my PC really easily so disassembling a PS4 wasn’t a challenge. also feel confident stripping down a PS4 controller and putting it back together. I’ve since took the controllers (not the new one) to make sure there’s nothing loose and also opened the PS4 to check the antenna and ribbon cables. all looks good but still disconnecting.

not sure what else to do. I guess I need to accept I wasted my Money.

I say check on PS4 HW repair places around the net to see if its easy to swap out the offending part if its a HW failure, if you are confident taking the thing apart to do what you did then I don't see why you can't replace a part. I mean who knows maybe its super complicated but worth taking a look before you trash it/sell it for parts.

Youtube has channels devoted to people fixing consoles I think, maybe try those?

edit - Something like this?:
