What Remakes or Reboot would you want to see Nintendo to outsource to 3rd party studio to revive OLD IPs with their guide.

what game and studio have they than so far of my head i think -
Star Fox Zero - Platuim
Mercury Steam - Metroid 2: Samus Returns
WayPoint - Advance Wars 1+2 Re Boot camp

Some worked(Samus Returns) and some didn't(Zero). If Nintendo is not doing this to revive some of their dormant IPs.
what game would you want back and be which studios.

Edit: Please lets keep it mainly keep it to old games first before possibly get new game.
Example i loved the F-Zero advance by the Fast RMX teams with the GX devs guide.

I'm just overjoyed by the Advance Wars re-boot game coming and i hope to see more. Finger cross for Golden Sun 1+2 remake.
Lock if old.

That is a very good choice! Outsourced to which studio?

Bluepoint

or Denis Dyack

The Last Story. Of everything from Project Rainfall, it was what I was most excited about. Since it used the classic controller, it could just be remastered in HD and it would be perfect.
The problem is Nintendo helped develop it with Mystwalker and Xseed released it in North America; does Xseed still exist?

Saddest part these games have in common that have been listed are poor sales and too niche.

In our eyes these game are massive AAA games which have just been forgotten for no reason but Nintendo, not to put word in their mouth, can't seem to manage a decent dev team internally to orusce better games.

Man, I just want to see some weird stuff. Give Animal Crossing to Id Software. Kojima Productions doing Donkey Kong. From Software doing Mario Sunshine 2. Blue Box Games doing Luigi's Mansion.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, after Bloodborne, I'd love to see a From Software take on Metroid.

i dont think any of this would work
I dunno, I was about to post something about a DICE Battlefield-like using the Star Fox license. Could be pretty cool. It would even give the Landmaster a reason to exist. My only alternative for the license is a Bioware Mass Effect-like...

...or you could just make a traditional Star Fox by giving it to Shinen, I guess. They'd probably make it cheap enough that it could turn a profit on the handful of people who still want a 3D shmup. *shrug*

I'm still waiting for Nintendo consoles which can play all BC game up to NES so I can throw all my legacy hardware into the bin.
PC is not the answer you know especially when Windows / Nvidia / Radeon updates love to break their old compatibility for emulators mean in order to be always booting all nintendo legacy emulator (especially HD's one like WII U) on PC you need to always upgrade you CPU or disable all your windows and GPU updates because none of these PC emulator in final version (all still in BETA aka WIP) so slightest change by that big three morron can potentially render one of your emulator broken.

I want them to stop being focused on remasters, remakes, ports, compilations and rehashed and expanded ports sold as sequels. And focus instead on brand new games.

-Brand new F-Zero: Sumo Digital
-Brand new Wario Land: Wayforward or Dotemu
-Mario Odyssey 2: fucking Nintendo staff wasting their talent on rehasing Mario Party games and similar non-important spinoff stuff
-Mario Kart 9: I know MK8 sells a lot, but I think Switch deserves its own Mario Kart game (the outsourced AR game doesn't count, I mean a real one)

Yup, I'm in Japan. While easier and (often cheaper) to search used/refurbished old machine, it's better if I only just have 4 every gen (PS/XBOX/Nintendo/small PC (laptop)) than to switch around 8-10's hardware every time I need to play something. Also It's more space friendly as I only have a small room here :messenger_downcast_sweat:

A little rant about PC gaming:
After 10 years of full PC gaming with 5k of Steam library, Crypto (+ shitty OS and GPU updates to small extent) really kill all my desire to still do that especially after they successfully ruined PC component prices twice (2018 and now)
Why I need to spend around US$ 4.2k every 3 years in order to get a PC with greatest spec to comfily do dual OS boot (linux and windows) or for 2 moderate spec PC hardware with two separate OS while I can get used/refurbish VITA OLED, PS3 SS, WII U, X360 with all of their respected acc for one time $500 and a new PS5 disc, XSX, Switch and gaming laptop for US$2900 every 5-7 years?

hmmm but i thought u wanted the best gaming experience.
yes this is it. Shin'en are wizards when is come to graphics, the team that did GX could aid them
120FPS F-ZERO 1440 DLSS , damn now that would be killer.
