How do I download this? Or haven't they released that info yet?
Well, if it's anything like MCC flights, you'll either get a steam code for the PC build, or you'll be able to download the build through the Xbox insider app IIRC.

i really really want this to be good. I watched the gameplay from yesterday and i just cant tell the difference between it and halo 5 tbh.

Visually the difference is only slight despite being a 6 year newer game on much better hardware and the art style is overall 343 Halo rather than Bungie halo. As in, the map they showcased is the same generic industrial look that every halo 5 map used endlessly.

The map design, as predicted, seems entirely based around sprint with very little thought to strategic points, lines of sight, or even interesting visual cues. these maps could easily go into a CoD game and fit right in.

I didnt get a flight invite so i wont be able to see how it feels. But Halo 5 felt well enough, my issue with 5 was the map design, sprint, and clamber for the most part. All of those are still present

I’ll be honest I’m pretty glad they went more in that direction multiplayer wise - I’ve played all the halos from the beginning but I am a casual player - the old ones feel too dated to me with the movement now - like I can’t get behind no sprint and no clamber when every other modern FPS has them. I don’t get why that ever was a core part of the halo experience to people, but like I said I’m casual - the map to my eyes looks like a slayer halo map, cannot tell the difference.

I can't figure out how to download and their site isn't loading anything. Says pending on the Xbox insider app so I'm wondering if I actually got in on pc.

Finally got through to the Halo Insider profile page where they have the flights and keys at the bottom. Got the key, redeemed, and currently downloading!

This Tech Test on PC runs like utter dog shit. 3700x/3080fe and i cannot get more than 40 fps at the lowest settings.

I'm watching videos now. I love how they moved most of the HUD elements to the bottom of the screen. It definitely looks cleaner compared to H5.
