Video 1: Fixes to the GPS Map

“Kind regards, fixers of Night City”

Earlier this morning Thorton Ltd. announced an update to their GPS navigation technology. Other manufacturers, including the high-end Rayfield, affordable Makigai, motorcycle company Yaiba, and more, soon followed suit.

Is it a change for the better? Let’s see what our expert in the studio has to add:

"With the new minimap system software update you are able to see more and navigate better. Drive fast, drive safe.” — Andrzej, Programmer, CD PROJEKT RED

Video 2: Fixes to the dollhouse options (lolwtf?)

No more clouded judgement in Clouds

After the recent storm in the establishment and changes in management, Clouds announced improvements in the Matching Procedure. Our correspondent, Bes Isis, decided to find out why.

"It was one of my first tasks when I moved to this project and I was digging into code for a long time because I wanted to understand our UI videos system, and at the end I realised that the problem is in video setup. Value for video time was shorter than the video sequence. This way, players will better understand the decision they are making in this story sequence."
— Natalia, UI Programmer, CD PROJEKT RED

Video 3: Fixes to the modifications.

“Swiss army” mercs

It’s obvious that Night City changes every body, but judging by the record numbers of personal coaches registering their offices citywide, it would seem that mental adjustments are becoming just as popular as new implants.

Here’s what one of our experts thinks about the situation:

“For our players, this feature will mean safer experimentation with builds. It is easily accessible and affordable for everyone, so there is no need to hesitate while investing in particular perks.” — Katarína, Gameplay Designer, CD PROJEKT RED

-------------------------------

Want to know more?

Just like the last time, a full list of changes is coming soon! However, if you’re anxious to hear what else is new in Night City, join REDstreams with our experts tomorrow on CD PROJEKT RED’s Twitch channel. The stream will be in English and will start at 18:00 CEST on August 17th.

//STREAM'S OVER.

I'd like for them to fix NPC repetition, it's a bit jarring walking around such a beautifully designed city but walking passed the same person on the same street multiple times.

Also people non-stop calling you stacking missions on missions is so annoying.

So....what are those first 2 videos? What is the difference?? Is this trolling?
I've updated the OP to shed more light, but to be honest, their blogpost was very vague in how they presented the information.

They did this meta way of approaching their recent blog post, confusing as all hell but I tried summing it up in the OP.

I recently replayed GTAIV for Nostalgia and goodness me, I was surprised by how diverse pedestrian clothing were as you walked down any street.

It was very hard to find the same outfit worn twice by an NPC, something hard to say about CP2077.

Hopefully this too is fixed.

I believe it was established a long time ago that games from the 360 era are better than cyberpunk

Hope they will bring the game to playable state until it'll be on sale on Stadia 😂
2-3 years from now that is

I understand the console versions are royally screwed, but are PC players getting some goodies as well?

When will the patch be released?
I like the reflections on the car better in 1.3 for sure.

Man, I remember the first time I played the game when it just came out. Was initially excited to learn that I can scan people to know NPC names and some details. Imagine my disappointment when multiple people on the same goddamn street had the same bio. Looked a bit different, but had the same name. In hindsight, these were the least of the games' problems.

I think I can live with repetition. But the janky way they move around is really jarring. Turning on a dime, weird collusions, it just doesn't look right.

They are clearly trolling us. Two highlights out of three are definitely not worth mentioning. Let's wait for the stream. Fingers crossed.

It's funny that thanks to trolls and haters people think this game is a broken mess or something. Version 1.23 is in much better state than any Bethesda game i have ever played. Completed it in Saturday, ~60h without any big problems (mostly some gfx glitches here and there). Game is excellent in what it does (action rpg) but it's certainly bad at mimicking GTA aspects (traffic, police etc.) But still great overall, 9\10.

issue with the game is that it's decent both as an open world action game and an rpg but not particularly briliant at either, in fact it is kinda bad when compared to the top of these genres

Plus it heavily depends on what platform you play it. Last gen still struggles with this game. Next-gen and PC are mostly fine.

still way off to being anywhere close to what they promised, if it ever will be. what a shame
I don’t really see the point in fixing this disaster of the game any further… it will need lots of work and resources that could very well be spent into a new project that hopefully will have a better release than CyberButchered 1877

The fact that I have to study those videos in some bizarro "look for the differences" kind of way is just absolutely insane to me. Is is really that hard to add some text and an arrow explaining what it is I'm supposed to be seeing?

Also that I have to parse through like 2 pages of garbage text to figure out just exactly what this patch is annoys me to no end.

Edit: video two shows the two options Angel/Skye for way longer so you won't be confused when you have to make the dialogue choice.

Jesus christ this is such a minor and insignificant "issue". Who the hell prioritizes these fixes?

Lmao is THAT what it was about? I sincerely couldn't understand wtf I was looking at, and reading their post was just pure torture.

Thanks for the clarification, i'll update the OP.

But what games are like cp? There is no other rpg game with GTA style open world with drivable vehicles and stuff. As far as I know... And aside some jrpg games i don't remember anything really good in rpg genre released in last few years. Please don't mention isometric games...

It's from Poland after all

Sometimes politicians reach new levels of stupidity, but aside stuff like that:

Getting of all those news, outrages and made up gender stuff etc. that originates mostly from UK and USA by blue haired feminist lesbians... Getting out of home to quite "normal" world is quite refreshing. It's still quite normal but new generation will probably eat this shit up.

In Chech republic you have great % of atheist (like me) but how is lbgt and all this BLM shit viewed?

Disco Elysium. Even with a fixed character (at least as far the beginning of the game goes), so much more role-playing options than Cyberpunk.
Please don't mention isometric games...
...and also Wasteland 3. And yes, both games are isometric, but who cares?

the two modern deus ex are really similiar in terms of feeling to cyberpunk, minus the open world but plus an overall better and more interconnected level design

as far as best rpgs that are not isometric, the old fallout new vegas (and fallout 3, haven't layed fallout 4) walk all over cyberpunk in terms of actual roleplaying, with actual choices and different approaches, factions and such

in fact witcher 3 offers more chances for roleplay than cyberpunk

This is so true, and the one thing I found most disappointing in Cyberpunk (and I played through it, seeing all the endings apart from the secret one, one a Pro at launch so I'd have a lot of technical issues to complain about).

For example, the whole Delamain series of quests. Some more interesting than others, but generally fun and written well enough. So you get to the end, and you can solve the whole questline in three different ways. And... you get the same exact reward (no, a few lines of dialogue that may differ, or Johnny (dis)liking your actions doesn't change the fact). Such a letdown.

LGBT is widely accepted, we have let's say well known Gays and Trans people (trans could get surgery during Bolshevik, for example), BLM is whatever obviously. But none of it it's extreme, as in Czech way everything is "meh whatever", nothing is pushed in media movies and stuff, but it's also not frown upon when gay couple shows up, it's simply "meh".

LGBT marriage is not in full effect, but you can have "registered partner", which I think in many cases is preferable. Would love that as straight option too. You know divorce and shit...

To be honest in regards to BLM, when police killed that junkie gypsy (recent example), people on very fringe left, wanted him to paint as some "George Floyd" and foreign media picked up on it. But it has standard procedure here, you have here something called "right to live" and if even police kills you, there is an independent investigation. If there was excessive force, etc. And it wasn't, he was deemed that he was danger to society, court ruled out. And also one other incident in parlament where some put banner with BLM and it was removed and the person ridiculed (as in "american problems, don't care").

And pride parade here, is just meh one day event in in Prague center mostly. And gay people I know, just don't fucking care.

However I believe the situation is quite different in Poland, at least from outside perspective. The recent ban on abortion, is pretty severe for example. I believe that religious theme and religious population is quite the opposite to us. I believe we are in top 3 least religious countries, where ~95% of Poland population has religious affiliation.

I am strongly opposed the USA (well through there UK for a good measure) influence over social politics, but I believe that limit the people's rights isn't the right thing to do. Which is kind of mantra of conservative society.

But it's not all rainbows and bunnies here, currently we are ratifying "2nd amendment", proposed by our alcoholics demented president and I hate it. We are on of the safest place on earth, so it clearly works, so no need to change it like this. And you could get gun licence with pretty strict tests no issues before, but now it's probably going to get way easier, which think about the "maladjusted citizens" makes me worried.

I restarted this game this week after a long break. My current save is broken in that Vik's door is closed and can't be opened so I can't pay him back.

So far I have seen

1. All blood decals on my hands hover about 1" away.
2. In Johnny's first flashback in the heli there are either invisible buildings or some other kind of graphical glitch.
3. In the junkyard there are several graphical glitches and floating objects.
4. NPC's still in T poses.
5. NPC's still stacked atop one another.
6. My gun dissapearing.
7. My gun auto-fires and i had to switch away and switch back.
8. My health glitched and I was immortal.

10/10 will play some more!

Edit:

I would also like to add. As soon I step out I get a call from Ragina(i think, the cop). Cool who are you and why do I care? Why are you also now trying to sell me a car. I get fifty other people trying to hawk jobs and cars on me. Who are all of you, how did you get my number and how the fuck does this fit in with anything!
