Is there any food you eat every day?

I eat ice cream every day.

I always make sure to have ice cream in the freezer. I eat mostly high end fancy hipster expensive ice cream (Jeni’s, salt & straw, wanderlust, etc.) so it adds up. I can’t imagine life without it though.

I worked with a guy once who ate the same lunch every day. Turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese.

do you eat anything every day?

Milk is great. I actually got back into eating cereal recently. Not sure why I stopped. I loved it as a kid but then stopped eating it as an adult.

cereal and milk rule.

Yeah I eat a lot of "healthy" cereal, too. I'll have that or some waffles or pancakes, and a cold glass of milk on the side on early morning weekdays. Weekends I'll crack some eggs or whatever.

Well it's a beverage, but my wife makes the best, perfectly sweetened iced green tea and I drink it with dinner every night. It never wears out its welcome!

I have coffee every morning but I’m going to try to switch to matcha tomorrow. Picked up some this weekend.

I couldn’t have green tea with dinner though. I’d be up all night.

She started making matcha tea recently too, just as a rare treat. It's pretty different from the leaf tea I'm used to, but also good.

You must be pretty sensitive to caffeine. I forgot tea even had any in it, but even coffee rarely hits me hard.

I don't eat them every day, but I would if they weren't so expensive - Ribeye steaks. There is nothing better than a properly cooked ribeye.

I have worked for number of different restaurants in the span of my 16 years of being in the industry, you will get burned out really bad with red meat. I work a steak house and seeing a grill for over 5 - 6 hours a night while cooking hundreds of steaks gets really old.

Blueberries, yogurt, quarter cup of nuts (usually almonds), and an apple. Everyday. I also eat salads and cereal most days, but I try to alternate between salads and whole veggies, and I do those Kind breakfast bars instead of cereal on my early work mornings. For my main protein I try to alternate each day.

Now those are healthy choices. I'm too weak to kick the sugary carb cravings, lol.

Trust me, I feel you. I was overweight for many years after my wife and I quit smoking. Finally, though, I was given the strength to get my act together, and thankfully I've been able to keep on the (mostly) straight and narrow food-wise for many years. That being said, my wife and I have one day each month we call "Treat Day." It's our monthly eat-out date. One month she picks a place, the next it's my turn. And I treat myself to less damaging treats at the end of the work week. Stuff like Simple Truth puffs, or a single pack of those Nature's Bakery fig newtons.

I wish I had your perseverance.

That's great to hear. It sure takes some discipline to break old, convenient habits. I have acid reflux (not horrible) and still can't stop drinking coke and eating light McD's. Maybe I should get one of these wives' you speak of. lol

A cobb salad from Chick Fil A with a second spicy filet that I slice up and add in. With salsa dressing. Its amazing, I could eat it for every meal.

Sadly not everyday, closed on Sundays 😕

Coca cola sadly.
I hear you. This is something I wish I could kick, but it’s something that relaxes me at night during dinner. It must be the increase in blood sugar, since I don’t get the same feeling with diet pop. I suppose I’ve improved since I used to have 3 or 4 cans a day at one point.

I am a big fan of Jeni's. McConnell's is another brand I like..I visited L.A. and had a chance to try their scoop shop there. Jeni's High Five Candy Bar is A++++

If beer actually counts, I would say that.

Otherwise, it would have to be tacos, the perfect food.

I don't eat fish tacos, though.
