If it's 40 dollars or less I might double dip, but I'll wait til I see how it performs on PC. HZD was pretty bad when it first came out

60fps UC4 will be worth it alone.
Wonder if this one will actually be 60fps, since it's not the first time they've announced Uncharted 4 as 60fps lol.

Good for those without a Playstation that want to play them, though weird that it doesn't have 1-3 which aren't on PC. As someone that did play 1, 2, and a few hours of 3, it's a hard pass for me.

PC release makes sense... although its missing the best games in the series. But... framerate and resolution bump facilitates a PS5 re-release? Sony are just straight up fleecing their players at this point.

Lost Legacy on PC with mods will be golden 👌

Uncharted 4 was awful. Keep that trash on Playstation. Going to give people a terrible first impression of the series if the original are planned to come over eventually also.
This. I replayed this recently and the first 8 hours are 99% all walking, climbing and talking. there are like 3 shootouts in the first 7 chapters. crazy considering uncharted 1 and 3 were 8 hours long and full of action.

Disappointed it doesn't include 1-3, especially since you know they are going to try and recharge $40-50 for it......

I played uncharted 1 to 3, and I always liked the dialogues, environments, story progression etc, but hated the combats because of how repetitive they were, so I guess I would most likely prefer this episode (not saying getting rid of the action was the best thing to do though, but the action in 1 to 3 was really tedious, I prefer not even having it).

Seriously? They have lost thier minds, its worth $20 at this point, remastered or not.
They haven't said yet. It could be as low as $50.

But The Nioh Collection for PS5 is $70.
Its just Nioh & Nioh 2, higher res & framerate, for full price again.

won't spoil much but the repetitive combat gives way to repetitive climbing which is far more boring.

Lost legacy does a much better job of mixing the two gameplay systems. Also a lot more rewarding exploration.

I enjoyed both these games quite a bit it should just be a PS5 update like with TLOU2, GOW or Days Gone. I have no issue with cross gen for the first couple of years but shouldn't they at least be new games. ND should have been putting this effort towards TLOU2 DLC or Factions.

My main problem was mostly with how the combats dragged on for so long. It was always waves and waves of ennemies, uncharted 3 in particular was terrible with this. It was also quite anti immersive a lot of the time because it didn't make sense to have so many ennemies in a deserted place. And the gameplay wasn't interesting enough to justify so much combat, it's mostly just a cover shooter, nothing exciting about that. I wouldn't be against combats at all if it was more balanced and more interesting.

Of course its going to be 60fps. The PS4 Pro already ran it at a solid 30fps in 1440p. PS5 could easily handle this game at 60fps at 4K, especially if its a native port.

yeah, the waves made it feel worse otherwise i enjoyed the combat.

U4 doesn't have waves and you can skip most combat sections by playing stealth. Even if u are found you can hide and they will go back to searching for you.

I was kidding, just making fun of the fact that Uncharted 4 was announced as 60fps and with a 60fps "in game" trailer, but then was only 30fps.

Hahah they want to sell it to PS4 owners again don’t they. An uprez 60 FPS mode.

Edit: I’m getting pretty tired of these underhanded tactics. I mean it’s obvious there won’t be an upgrade path because this is a “remaster”. The fact is there is absolutely no need for this to exists apart from trying to wring money out of plebs that want an enhanced PS5 experience.

You're telling me Sony still haven't ported The Nathan Drake Collection to PC?

How are you going to play Uncharted 4 to the end without first playing the original PS3 trilogy?

Nobody knows.

I think lost legacy and 4 where more easier to port as they wheren't ps3 games.

The PC version is in development by our partners at Iron Galaxy and will release shortly after the PS5 version. As these dates approach, we’ll discuss more details.

So the development should have started before Sony got Nixxes on board. Wonder on what they'll be working. Speaking of which, Iron Galaxy are... not exactly the best porting house. I'd rather they had QLOC for this.

You had 5 years to play this. Relax your hot cross buns!
Nope.... this is beyond me playing it. I bought it at launch and played both.

This is about poor business decisions and lying about exclusivity. It's about respect for your customers....

All Jim is good at is lying and nickle and diming.

I would be tempted to double dip since i'm a massive fan of 4 but at full price for a years old port? fuck that shit.
Will buy on the discount bin if i ever see it at that price.

These are the two worst entries in the franchise. Not sure what Sony is thinking.
Your opinion is wrong.

kyliethicc kyliethicc lol I mostly expect lots of different clothing, hair, body morphs etc, nudity might happen but it’s boring compared to what some modders can craft. Chloe is so close to Lara Croft that I will be disappointed if I don’t see a new Lara Croft game emerge this way, it absolutely needs to happen lol. Model swapping could happen too, play through the game with Elena, or their kid, or just swap in Nathan in LL and Chloe in UC4. Modders always finds a way! 😁

I haven’t played it yet btw so I’m just glad I get to experience my first playthrough this way. With HZD I had already played so much on PS4 and since the saves wasn’t transfered I lost the interest.

How is this a poor business decision? PC is timeless. I will never have to upgrade the game again. Or worry about any architectural changes of the game being played on a future closed platform. This is Legacy that you'd want to preserve on PC.

Is the this the first ever simultaneous Sony first-party PS5/PC release? :pie_diana: Old Jimbo testing the waters first with a remaster collection.

According to Sony's blog, the PC version will be delayed again but only slightly. Like, probably no more than 2-3 months.
