Kept an eye on twitter and got word of a drop yesterday at 0800, got on before, refreshed over and over and got 1. Maybe luck as some say they have been trying for months.

Wow, thanks. I checked an old gmail account and sure enough, I got one of these back in July...expired now. Oh well. I don't need it that bad, will use the money on my
vacation instead.

I went on a waiting list this past June for a disc PS5 model and by mid July, I was called by the game store (EB Games) that one was available. I had to buy a bundle but had options of like some stand, an extra controller or certain games to come with it. I took the extra controller option and it came up to about $808 CDN after tax.

Fuck scalpers and supporting them. They can rot with their precious systems. Best option I feel is to just get on a waiting list with whatever local store is offering and just go on with your life until one is available.

I know several people that have been trying this entire time and still haven't gotten lucky. However there were two that got severely lucky. So, I guess 2 is better than none. But considering the amount of people I know that are still trying at every opportunity, my assumption is, yes, they are still hard to get for the majority.

I wasn't interested in getting a PS5 until about 2 weeks ago. Just searched google "PS5 uk stock" , link came up with some news articles on which stores are supposedly getting stock and some twitter stock check accounts.

Woke up early (like 5am) on day of predicted stock. Checked again on twitter and they had links to purchase PS5 + controller bundles. Bought one. Took about 30 mins of reading.

Easy.
