While it could simply be a mistake or an error, a dozen games have recently been delisted from the Microsoft Store, with their store pages completely removed, leaving users unable to download games they've paid for. According to reports from users in our forum, games such as The Station, Q*bert REBOOTED: The XBOX One @!#?@! Edition, Electonic Super Joy, and more have all had their Microsoft Store pages completely removed, which means if you've previously purchased one of these titles, there is currently no way to download it.

Microsoft, what ya doing? That´s a ...

DJ Salad, maybe you should fulfill your duty as a concerned citizen and post the update. According to the thread you're referring to it seems like the games are back online.

It's probably just a bug. Xcloud is always disappearing with my games.

PS: never heard before about any of these titles

@!#?@! that. This is not good. MS is pretty much the best now on keeping access to old games, so hopefully this isn't a common occurrence.

I guess they never used an Xbox to realize there is a game library.
They were missing from their library as well. You can also see form the comments inside the original link, people are mentioning specifically "the title has vanished from my personal My Games & Apps list." and a few others saying the same thing (so not just the individual game pages on the store but from the personal library as well).

Anyway people are reporting that they are slowly partially coming back/reappearing (at least in part) in their library.

I find it hard to believe those people actually owned any of those games in the first place.

That is a issue inherent of digital licenses… not specific to Xbox itself… same will happen on PlayStation, Nintendo, Steam, etc.
The company decides how much time they will support the game ok their servers.
If servers go down for example you will not play any game at all in the future.

I guess they never used an Xbox to realize there is a game library.
But it is not in their game library 🤔
What are you trying to say?

Why? I own a few of them. (some of them are decent) and I actually know people who bought them with me. they are certainly obscure little known indie games, but that doesn't mean nobody own them. For me and my friends we basically play for 90% of the time those types of games (little indie games very little known) and we like them (not these ones specifically but I'm referring to the "obscure" indie or small games niche) rather than AAA titles.

Hopefully it gets worked out. Even if rights issues come up, a download should always be available for a previously purchased copy, IMO.

You would see this some on iTunes as well back in the day, where you couldn't download delisted stuff, never cool. No matter the stank of the particular titles at hand, these titles could be some weirdos favorite games.

I got Electronic Super Joy for Steam in a Loot Crate (or something like LC) a few years ago. Never played it, but it came in a nice SNES style box.

So one of these games is owned by someone on GAF. Just not the Xbox version.
