I dunno. I feel like Gamepass is changing peoples gaming habits. I am usually switching between 4-5 games at a time just like I do with Netflix tv shows/movie.

Can I just say that I flagged on GAF months ago that the multiplayer icon/install for Halo Infinite is marked as ‘Game Pass’ in the Store and Game Pass app, despite it being free to play.
This was the plan all along IMO, give Game Pass subscribers early access from Nov 15th to Dec 8th.

As a COD and Battlefield person I say release it Monday. Halo is such a different game and has such a different audience that hates all the modern improvements COD and Battlefield brought to FPS market.
I loved the flight for halo but end of the day my brain is too trained to aim down sights and with descoping that will send people back to COD and Battlefield regardless.
each series has enough of their own fans to sustain their communities. They really don’t have fans across all 3 and if they do it’s a small minority

Nov 15 is so early when the official release is Dec 8.....
They would also have to make this early access available for those that pre-ordered the full game because that would not be fair to make it available early for only gamepass ultimate subs.
I think this is a smart move because the last thing they want is a bad launch like what happened with the master chief collection

Why would you spoil the game playing the multi player version? Heck I even played cods for years before eveb trying the single player. I played MW2019 over 300 hours and never touched single player.

How does MP spoil the SP? They are completely seperate entities.
My only concern is that the MP will be full of shitty MTX and regressive systems like Halo 5 was with its Warzone (SP?) mode. Fucking hated that shit. If they can get back to Halo 1-3 or hell, even Reach, style MP. I will be happy.

Eh, depends on how good the new Fable game is. If the rumors are true, its going to be some shitty GAAS/MMO style game.

That is my hope. But I am still going to be very cautious going into it. I have been burned far too many times on „classic returns“ that only ended being shitty MP, low budget, or GAAS titles. This isn‘t an MS issue, but an issue with major gaming publishers across the board.

Yeah... I don't think MS will take the risk of pissing off EA and Activision by suddenly eating into their sales.
But if I'm wrong and they do it anyways, I welcome it. Halo MP is the only shooter that interest me this season.
