went ahead and got Guardians of the Galaxy delux edition. I don’t know where you get the soundtrack though. I hope I can add it to iTunes.

I don't usually buy games on Xbox, although I tend to pick up DLC to go with GP games. Thinking of maybe getting FH4 Lego Speed Champions for $7.99. The Ori collection at $11.54 is pretty good, too.

Control ultimate edition for 12 euros, hell yeah. Highly recommended.

Shame the Guardians game is only 1080p at 60 fps, id pick it up if it was abit higher-res for that price.

Can anyone recommend a good rpg - not RDR2 (since its not 60 fps yet) ?

Control ultimate edition for £10.49 seems good, get to play it at 60fps.

Had Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 in my cart. Now it's been delisted apparently.
It seems its only temporary. Sucks to miss it when it was on sale though.

It's retarded/gross that Publishers aren't willing to give as good deals digital as they are physical, I'm not sure what the game is here, I guess to push physical releases?
It’s so when the inevitable generation with no disc drives comes we are all conditioned for digital prices and ‘sale’ prices upwards of £50.

PC = open platform with multiple stores to choose from and websites selling keys. Console = closed platform where one company calls all the shots.

You can buy digital codes for Xbox games from 3rd parties
Yeah, and 2 years ago you could for Sony too - and one day Sony decided they didn’t like doing that any more, and now you can’t buy digital codes for PS games from third parties. All it will take for Xbox to follow suit is for the next Xbox boss to get greedy.

Yakuza LAD and Dragon Quest XI are both good RPGs. They are turn based though soooo I don't know if you're into that since I'm not sure what variety of RPG you like. I don't know the prices where you're at but Yakuza LAD is $20 and DQ is $15 on amazon US. Maybe it's similar in euro land. Both games are on game pass however.

Anyone else disappointed with how little backwards compatible games are on sale? With 632 Xbox 360 games and 63 Original Xbox games, you'd figure these could be on sale more often.
It's not just this sale though, weekly sales for these games are also rare. Rockstar had some games on sale a couple of weeks ago, but without any specials going on (such as Star Wars) these seem rarely discounted.
Lost Odyssey hasn't been on sale for at least a year. Same for Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Well you can say the exact same thing for every developer and game on PC.

Hell we’ve already seen this on the epic store.

Steam could suddenly decide to delete everything on their servers and gaben could flee to some island he owns. It won’t happen but if it does you’re screwed! Same argument you’re making

It really isn’t lol - having one piece of hardware locked down to one companies whims and digital pricing policies is completely different to having a PC where there are multiple store fronts vying for your custom, incentivising them to offer lower costs.

My point is pretty straight forward: that Microsoft and Nintendo could pull the exact same move that Sony did by shutting down third party key sellers.

Sure. But with the logic that anything can happen, anything can happen.

Bought R&C PS5 for 40 € this morning. That was a damn good deal.
That’s the price it should have launched at. Still kicking myself for getting suckered into the hype. It’s short and I still haven’t finished it.

I’m thinking about Rider’s Republic. Looks like you can double up on rewards and bank 7000 points? I’m just kind of collecting points these days - have $300+ and no intention of spending them :messenger_tears_of_joy: Not yet anyway…

Tell me about kicking myself. I bought Guardians of the Galaxy at launch for 70 € and now it‘s on Black Feiday sale for 32 €. Like… what the hell? It‘s only been two weeks.

Probably won’t help to say I just bought that in the sale? :messenger_tears_of_joy: Will probably feel the same when Christmas sales hit and it’s thirty though…
