I know RE3 isn't the best but it's dirty cheap right now. Might have to pick it up since I enjoyed RE2. As for RE7 I already beat it on PC a long time ago. I don't think I'll play through that again when I still have RE Village to go through.

Probably 4K and 60 fps?

The games already look gorgeous to be honest, and performance is very good on Pro and One X, so I wonder what else could be done to improve them even further.

I bet it will be RayTracing reflections, since PC also gets the upgrades so it has to be something more than just PC Ultra settings and a res boost

Don't know yet. They've only put out that tweet 3 minutes ago.

Guessing:

Native 4K
RT reflections
Dualsense feedback for PS5

I hope not! In that case we can say good bye to the 60 fps we can enjoy now. RE Engine and RT don't mix well in my opinion. Even RE VIII had trouble maintaining 60 fps despite its real resolution being only half of 4K and its RT implementation was quite mediocre. Devil May Cry V in RT mode runs at 1080p and again, the results are far from being a fake changer.

On the other hand I think 4K and 60dps is something feasible and would be nice for a free update (SONY, are you reading this? I said FREE UPDATE).

Capcom best selling tittle, Monster Hunter World/Iceborne, when?

that game already is VASTLY enhanced on current gen.

the game was a fucking mess on last gen with terrible performance no matter which mode you played.

on current gen the performance boost alone is ridiculous even without a patch

NeonGhost

uses 'M$' - What year is it? Not 2002.
Is it?

Played the unpatched disk-version a few months ago. No problems there for me.

Native 4K is my guess. 2 and 3(patched) are very soft on a 4K screen.

I wonder if the VR-mode on 7 will benifit when played on PS5.
Idk about the disc version but playing the digital version of resident evil 3 on series x plays the base xbox version and not the one x enhanced

That's very cool, even though the updates won't probably be something massive and that's fine, those games are pretty good already. Time to buy Resi 3 (and 2 again).

No, only on PC where you can replace the face with the real Jill.
Saying 'real Jill' is like asking Nolan's Joker from Dark Knight who he really is. Could be Resident Evil 1 PS1 actress Jill, could be Marvel Vs Capcom 2 Jill, could be Project X Zone Jill, could be REmake Jill, could be Revelations Jill, could be Umbrella Chronicles Jill, could be RE 3 remake Jill, could be the CG movies Jill, could be the live action movie Jill, could be the other live action movie Jill.

All different faces. At this point if they change her face again it wouldn't mean anything anymore.

Between RE2 Remake and RE3 Remake I have 200+ hours of playtime, according to Steam.

I'd be looking to add more hours to that count 😂 I got a new PC build in 2019 specifically for RE2 Remake, and will get a new GPU specifically for these upgrades, which sadly my current GPU wouldn't be able to handle.

Holy shiet this is AMAZING!!! Those kind of games i still replay time to time so that's awesome news, i did another like 8th run of RE3 remake not too long ago and i was thinking about this upgrade possibility.

Now all they need to do is add the cut content in RE3 Remake.

Gentlemen, we can rebuild it. We have the capability to make the world's first enhanced store. Steam will be that store. Better than it was before.
Excellent news. Other companies - take note, this is how you release upgrades.

If we had the PSVR2 already that would benefit RE7 (and 8), but Sony keeps taking their sweet ass time to release the thing.
