It generates this much revenue because the vast majority of people picked up a PlayStation 4 last gen and invested in the ps4 eco system. With PlayStation making pc ports, and other multiplatform games, they are giving those users an option to leave this $14 billion eco system.

I wonder if Sony can maintain this level of revenue. With PC ports and lack of supply on PS5 consoles will people that were subbed on their PS4 unsubscribe if they can't get a PS5 or if they decide to move the PC? It's an impressive number, but every company always wants growth, growth, growth.

I'm in love with Steam again. I'm not even using my active Ps plus so...

Good to have downloadable game library in Ps plus though. Maybe I will try it someday.

This is all thanks to games like CoD, Fifa, GTA5, etc. etc., while many "experts" here believe SP-only games are the way to go... Sony learned first hand how much money online gaming brings, hence their focus on MP/GaaS games this gen.

Well I'm just happy that single player games are still a thing for Sony.

Jim Ryan needs to come out with PlayStation On™. Basically charge users to use electricity to power their devices.
