Tom Henderson weighted in the information he heard of what will be at tomorrow at XBS:

  1. A lot of "surprises"
  2. Don't expect Ubisoft presence
  3. Heard nothing about EA either
  4. Bethesda to have Redfall, Starfield and 2 announcements
  5. Starfield will take around 20% of the show
  6. There's a company showing more games than Bethesda (SEGA? Bandai Namco?)
  7. No avowed being shown
  8. He has no info about Zenimax
  9. Something Halo is being announced
  10. Kojima is going to be there, but no Overdose...some kind of partnership? Announcement?
  11. Starfield to have a sizeable demo
  12. 20-30 games to be there
  13. Small and big IP revivals

I'm glad there doesn't seem to be anything interesting at all besides Starfield. Nothing going to steal the spotlight from that hehemoth. Keep Avowed under wraps till after Starfield has released and secured a good footing. The fewer distractions the better.

No Overdose seems disappointing. Should have saved the Kojima partnership announcement for when they actually show the game.

I get people being upset at Avowed not being there assuming it's true, but honestly I'm okay with it. If you have games that are on the same level and will release sooner then give those attention and time on stage. Show Avowed later when you can give it a proper reveal with some meaty gameplay and a solid release date.

If Kojima has nothing to show, why even trot him out?

Also wonder what Namco could be showing? Tekken? Elden Ring DLC?

Hopefull the Sega or Bamco stuffs aint some old game release on PS4 5 years ago or something, and it's something really new

Anyway Some potential here, they can literally just announce a new well made KI game and i'm sold, wait and see.

No Avowed? Welp, take that off the list for 2022. Any word on Hellblade II, though?

Also as far as that other company showing more than Bethesda, it's probably Embracer Group. Don't they have like a billion developers now? Or it could be Sega after all; if it is tho I'd just expect more Sonic Frontiers gameplay (maybe also a story trailer), some stuff like Two Point hospital and maybe Persona 5 Royal coming to GamePass plus another trailer for Soul Hackers 2, and maybe an update for the new Jet Set Radio or Crazy Taxi game they announced a couple months back, depending on how far either of those are.

No Overdose seems disappointing. Should have saved the Kojima partnership announcement for when they actually show the game.

If that's the case, then Overdose is probably a multiplat, they're probably working on Death Stranding 2 with Sony so that'd be PS5/PC, meaning whatever he has planned with Microsoft will be that long-rumored Kojima/Xbox game...

...tho it's also possible those rumors were always BS and it's just two games; if Overdose is one of those games and it's not going to be at the Xbox event(s) then that is likely multiplat.

Disappointing if no Avowed gameplay. I expect it to be an all round better game than Starfield. Story, visuals(UE5/Lumen/Nanite) and combat. Bethesda's engine are good for large worlds but I've never been impressed with their visuals they produce with it.

Avowed not being there makes little sense to me, unless MS wants to spread out its RPG output: Starfield with the small InXile RPG to be shown this year; Avowed and the second InXile project next year; Fable and whatever else they have planned in this genre in 2024...
I'm probably way off though! Still believe that Avowed will be shown tomorrow...

If half of that shit is true then that would be a pretty big show.

The thing that sucks about about E3 not being how it was is that these announcements are slowly dripped out instead of getting them all at once. It's way less exciting.

Or is it just one of Phil's balls in my throat?
I would rather Starfield be 5~10% of the show and there be some Avowed presence there as well.

Rare said long ago that they wont be going to their back catalogue for new games going forward.
Of cours MS could give those games to another team.

I thought we already knew some time ago a couple of Microsoft studios and a prominent 3rd Party, was making games off Rare IPs?

Then again, one of these is probably the rumored KI sequel that is supposedly farmed out to an established fighting game developer/talent, and another the Perfect Dark sequel that’s been confirmed…but that fits the narrative. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Now a Banjo Kazooie 3…well, my penis can only get so erect.

Yeah, it seems it is gonna be 8/10 showcase. No Avowed, stuff like Overwatch, Microsoft Flight Sim x Halo, Forza DLC, no third parties aside Sega....

Makes me wonder what they are gonna show on extended showcase. Redfall deep dive?
