Question about purchasing games from the eshop

So, I'm getting a Nintendo Switch soon (a week or two) and noticed that there was some games on sale on the eshop (website) that I wouldn't mind getting. I tried purchasing them but I keep getting the same error.

"This error code indicates that your Nintendo Account has not accessed the Nintendo eShop from a Nintendo Switch console. Nintendo Switch titles can only be purchased from Nintendo.com using a Nintendo Account actively linked to a Nintendo Switch console.

Is there a way to get around this (without asking someone to borrow their Switch since my friends don't have one)?

Interesting, you would think Nintendo wouldn't care if you had a Switch or not so long as you're giving them money.

I don't know a way around it without borrowing someone's Switch. There's 90+ million of those things in the wild, someone you know will let you borrow their Switch for 15 minutes.

The same games go on and off sale all the time. If you miss the sale, wait a bit and it will almost guaranteed to come back at that price.

Well, guess that will have to do. Still, dumb system to have, especially when the account was created and used on their previous system.
