When I see that in a GOW game, it's usually a low-skill player that plays ALL games like that or low difficultly that will allow that sort of stuff. But if it's a skilled GOW player on a high difficulty it just looks awesome and feels great.

A lot of people are so spoiled that they don't even remember now that spoilers ruin the experience for them. These same people will watch it all out of context, in advance, without playing it. And then a few weeks later will be in every thread talking about how all games suck in 2022 and nothings as good as when they were kids.

I don’t know why they do this to themselves, there is huge difference between playing the game yourself and just simply watching it.

i don't see what the hype is all about with this game. doesn't look too impressive or is this development footage?

I mean it looks good but we've already seen roughly this level of visuals on PS4 so for me also the wow factor is largely gone. Only so many times you can be wowed by the same visuals until you start to want more. Only natural.

I suppose the positive side is that, given that God of War (and other equally good looking games) set the graphical bar for last gen, the fact that these visuals are now sort of the baseline is a good sign of things to come in another 2 years perhaps?

But hey who am I kidding. I'm not buying a PS5 for scalper prices and it seems like supply will never improve in Japan (because all the inventory is being sent to the US and Europe where the real console wars are happening) so I'm stuck being a grumpy old codger on this forum instead of actually getting into next gen myself.

Weird how they make a giant fat and muscular THOR warp around at light speed. You'd think they'd make him more of a bull charging hulk. Also, the dialogue is cringeworthy. Nothing like two behemoths clashing and representing ancient mythology and they are saying "Fucking" and "dumbass" at each other.

This isnt actually the dialogue of the final fight...is it?

I hate being a bandwagoner but honestly the dialogue is alot worse than I expected.
Who ever is currently doing the VA clearly felt nothing for the script and is just here for the paycheck.

Im going to guess none of the reviewers are going to have any issue with the weak writing and voice acting in this game.
10 out of 10 greatest game of all time.

My question was super simple, is thor another easy fight all spectacle (the type of spectacle you had against baldur first fight) or is it more like the valkirye, so an actual boss fights with challenge and more than 3 moves to memorize?? I think it's an easy thing to answer unless you can't grasp the difference between baldur boss fight and queen valkirye boss fight.

I think they mean that every attack feels weightless and lacks feedback, or at least that's the feel I get from the video.

The boss voice acting is very very bad too, imo.
