I noticed yesterday that the diameter of the rectal thermometer the vet used on my cat is the same diameter as the one the nurses used on me.
Since cat buttholes are so much smaller then a humans, how much bigger would a humans rectal thermometer need to be to match what the cat is experiencing?

Live from NeoGAF, it's Friday Night!
I will always cherish the memories of shitposting in the "Abandoned = Silent Hill" thread alongside him.
I to have many fond memories from his time here, especially from the Returnal OT. We are still connected through PSN but it won't be the same.
RIP Tommib. From your Squarepusher name, your music choices, and to your sci-fi horror tastes, I'll miss your contributions to this forum

i hate myself but i downloaded the tik tok. i was going through youtube and was bored. i ended up watching the shorts and i was hooked scrolling through it. i knew it was based on tiktok so i thought this is fucking addictive i want to try tiktok so i downloaded tik tok.

all last night and this morning i sat there scrolling through it for hours. there's so many funny/cute cat videos for goodness sake so how can i not waste away my time?

i know the app is tracking everything and it's bad. i know it's probably not doing much to stop it but i signed up with a disposable email, didn't use my real name or put any info on it, made sure my account was private and didn't personalise ads etc, restrict it running in the background or accessing my location/camera/microphone etc, and i only run it with my VPN on. from just scrolling through it yesterday and today it already seems to know what city i live in (my VPN server is in the same country but a different city), my favourite football team, that i like building PCs, and of course the cat videos.

while i've been hooked i don't know if i'll keep it for long. i'll see how it goes.

Never had anal huh. The more relaxed the bigger the entrance. Seems you and your cat share the same anxiety regarding anal probing

Just one example of why rigorous mathematics is important in grade school.

I just came across a pillow case that I had. I must have had this for at least 12 years because it came with Agarest War or one of the other Agarest games.

Cleaned up my PC by organizing my nudes stash deleting unneeded files and programs.

Now it feels factory-fresh.
did you enable show hidden files in file explorer?

if not, go to view > show > hidden files and make sure it's ticked.

go into "C: drive > users > *your username*" and then delete any folders left over from any programs you don't have installed anymore. there shouldn't be too many here but some gaming stuff is saved there. once you've done that then go into the "appdata" folder and go into both the "local" and "roaming" folders and delete any folders left over from previously installed programs.

after that go back to the C: drive then go to "program data". delete folders of old uninstalled programs. go into both "program files" and "program files (x86)" and do the same.

if you want to go deeper you can do windows key + R and run "regedit". you can go through the file tree manually or press ctrl + f to search for the name of a program. you can do F3 to find the next entry. delete whatever comes up if you want. this can break stuff so if you're not 100% sure then best leave it.

you can download bleachbit which will remove old registry files for you and clean up your PC. you can run that occasionally but i'd recommend downloading bulk crap uninstaller and using that when uninstalling programs. it will offer to remove any left over files once you have removed the program.

Thanks for the tip!

Play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Just kidding. It's on my bucket list.

you should try it at some point.

when cooking with it you only need a tiny amount. no more than 1/4 of a chilli... probably less than that. it gives a nice taste and kick but if you go overboard there will be pain.

there is an even hotter chilli but i don't know if you can buy it anywhere. i want to try it.

Love the taste

(remember unless I really go out of my way there's not much option. Perhaps online ordering!)

Carolina Reaper is 1.4 - 2.2 million on the Scoville scale so way hotter than that one at 100 - 500k. Pepper X is meant to be 3.18 million!

I had to order the Carolina Reaper through ebay. the only ones i can buy out the supermarket are Scotch Bonnet, Habanero, or Ghost Pepper (hottest at 800k - 1.041 million)

Been watching The Man in the High Castle and I’m starting to think of the things the Nazis wouldn’t tolerate in present day America, things like not returning your shopping carts to the cart corral or store, or people not wiping the snow off of their cars.
Stop watching it. The last season blows and will make you wish you didn’t waste your time.
