Let's all saviour this folks a remake done RIGHT.....no bugs, no micro-transactions, no half finished shell of a game like you got with CyberPunk and E-Football by Konami, you are getting what you paid for...like it was back in 2008.....this is up there with the recent Need for Speed update from the 2011 version....EA didn't tamper too much with what was good....not that I played any of them, but when watching the walkthroughs of the games I found them quite immersive... Also to add not even the Metal Gear remake would be as good as this simply because of the fact that game will be missing its KEY ingredient which is the main theme music that was there from MGS-2....

Yes but next gen is here. Only 4090 manages 4k natuive with 70 fps. 3080\6900 all wqhd 60 fps cards now. And people dont think consoles need a mid gen upgrade.

Now you got it . On pc you pay 1000 or more for a gpu or kiss goodbye at 60-70 fps at 1440p. .Funny too at Ps4 they said consoles hinders gaming to evolve cuz slow af. And now they cry when cross gen ends and they realize that for 60 fps you will need double current gen gpu power in next gen games which is a 68/900xt level. But most pc gamer by far have not even half the gpu power of a ps5 or sx. I laugh all day to funny. Hell the most used gpu the gtx 1060 got replaced by a 1650 which is slower.
that never ever happened before like ever.And a 1650 wont cut it in dead space at 1080p. Bad sales for next gen games on pc. Liinus made a good vid bout it

What are they smoking. And then there is also a deluxe edition with suits and crap. thanks.

and steam is 60$.
I still don't get it why console players have to pay so much more. This is annoying. Especially for a remake that is 90% just new graphics.

I did not buy this because indeed, in the end this is a pound for pound remake of a game I already played a lot. I will play it down the line but not right now. I am happy the game seems to be a good remake and not a fuckup.

I think Konami actually paid for the rights for those as the theme was still present in the later HD Remaster & Digital Releases.
Even after removing the the game from digital stores because the news footage license expiring they still returned with theme.
They just didn't use it for MGSV as that would be another instance they would need to pay out for.
I'm not sure how that would work with a Remake.
They may have a license for those versions and not new tracks featuring it or by usage.
There is definitely a grey area.

Yeah, I’m not touching this until a sale or until it comes on game pass (although I’d be missing out on the controller haptics in the latter). Games are over 100 bucks in Canada, I just can’t justify that price for most games.

I never played Dead Space but I've always wanted to, so this seems like a good time. How long is the game? I don't wanna pay full price if it's like 10 hours and I beat it in one weekend.

If you are refering to TLOU Part I (which I bought Day One, btw), this is a much better remake compared to that.
Not only the graphics were entirely remade from scratch, but the script was rewriten, performances are new, new gameplay mechanics, new cutscenes, Ishimura was remade to interconect all areas and etc.
I bought Part I because I love TLOU and wanted to replay it with a new coat of paint. But compared to this, that looks like the laziest job ever (at the same price)

What’s up with those weird digital unlock times?!? I preordered yesterday just to be able to pre load the game. So now I’m turning on my PS5 and have to see that in Europe the game unlocks at 6 pm. WTF?!? Why would you unlock the game this late on launch day? Especially for people who preordered.

Technically couldn't they include the original MGS2 theme song since it is copyrighted for that game? At the very least Konami could pay/license the use of it. I know there is a legal situation but I'm sure they could get around it.
