Man, I so want D4 to be good but I can't ignore all the live service red flags it's giving off. Plus Blizzard's track record dating back to the bungled launch of D3. This is definitely a wait-and-see title. Don't want to get hyped for it only to have another repeat of the RMAH or Error 37 or the bungled Overwatch 2 launch and season pass system.

I’m a diablo fanatic and preordered the Ultimate edition. When it comes to loot based arpgs I have no self control and somewhat ashamed of mysel … nope i’m fucking pumped and will be in the early access beta next weekend!!!! LETS GO!!!!!!

That was weird. Gonna preorder the 90 euro version on battle.net next week before the beta starts. They got me with the 4 day early access. Such a scummy move but it works damnit... I cant wait for this game. Im gonna be on vacation from june 3rd to 17th too so 2 weeks of nolife diablo. Just please dont delay it

outside of cosmetic bullshit for d4, d3, immortal, and wow the only reason to get the standard edition is if you want to pay the least amount of money and get early access to beta this month.

get deluxe if you want "up to" 4 days early access to the game and a battle pass. get ultimate if you want the 20 tier battle pass boost.

i'm going with the Ultimate Edition which is £90 here. Standard is £60. I don't care about £30 and even if i went with standard i'd still probably buy the battlepass. so really for ~£20 i'm getting early access to beta/launch, all the stupid cosmetic shit, and the 20 tier boost.

as for D2, i haven't played it except during the beta. i thought it was good but what do i know? seems to be well received from what i can tell. i bought it but haven't got around to playing it because i'm waiting for IV.

On one hand it has battle pass. Ion the other hand it’s Diablo.

Right now, I got early beta access through KFC. I was going to try it out before buying. I may pre-order a physical copy in case it sells out.

The PC release is totally digital, so you can hold off buying until after trying out the beta. It is not going to sell out.

There is a physical collectors box, but it is like $100.
