75% off is the most I'd imagine it going for, and now it's 66%, you'd be saving a couple of bucks at best. If that matters to you, sure, wait and hope that it goes on sale for 75% off, just know there's an equal chance it would go on sale for a lesser percentage too if it even does go on sale.
You need to kinda predict where he's going to be, since your ICBMS take a while to charge+fly.
Also, the sanctum people should be shot for the "drunk guys singing jinglebells" BGM on the christmas map... that I had to listen to for over half an hour.
Comments in the thread (and a drop in price to $20 is inevitable eventually), but you're right that in the short term it's probably not going to get much cheaper.
The jingle bells one was easy indeed, but how the hell do you do the Runner ones?
I don't even understand the words used in them =p
What's a bonk, what the hell are challenges? Do these unlock after you beat zone 1 or something?

It could be a server issue. A couple of friends had an issue with the achievement popping up until they switched to a different one.
Magicka and Flight Control both updated. I don't know if they are related to the cheesemint hunt.
Braid: Start 1-1, skip the first gold bar and die.
Amnesia: Play 1-6 and get to the bonus stage. Make it to the spider and die.
I'm not so sure what they want me to do for the 3rd one.
after 5 minutes I had to mute it.
Gundemonium: Keep the holiday spirit alive (Polaris)
Hitogata hapa: Obtain 10,000 candy cane gems in one game (Sweet Tooth)

Right, those are the games that are unlockable that I haven't gotten yet.
Yeah, this was the deal. I hopped into a TDM server and collected a ton of presents, but nothing ever popped up. Regular CS worked though.
On a side note, this game is kinda buggy at the moment. My guns and hands magically disappeared twice while I was running wild, and Ts / CTs are staring up into the sky when you select them.

I got the TF2 one without even realizing there was a TF2 present grab.
Like out of nowhere I got the achievement, after only like 20 minutes of playing. I hope some more of them are that easy

Killing Floor is also super easy if you have it. Simply play 1-2 solo game(s) and you should have the kill count for it to unlock.
Same for Sanctum. Play the Christmas map long enough and you should have 10 gifts under 20 minutes.
Repeating for anyone trying this one:
The L4D2 one seems bugged, so that most of the gifts drop on the first map (oodles of them, really), but after that, there are almost no drops.

I got to wave five twice and zombies are coming out of every hole. I love that game but I'm officially giving up in the hopes that he patches it to make it easier, or someone makes a guide.
Cities In Motion updated with a winter-themed achievement: transport 1000 people during November, December, and January. Looks like it's cumulative rather than within a single winter, so you could e.g. load up a save from mid January, run till the end of the month, then load the save again and repeat until you have it.

Wow, I can see all this stuff that is going to be on sale because of all the updates. That also means I probably won't be buying much since I already own so much of it.
Ouch. I bought RO2 and while I like a lot about it, it's a bit too intimidating for me. I never was quite sure of what I was supposed to be doing and I was very paranoid about teamkilling so I barely ever fired my weapon. If I had the attention span to commit to learning the in-and-outs, I would probably love it, but as it stands I'm a weakling who only deserves the likes of Call of Duty.
On the bright side, maybe this will push them to make Killing Floor 2. That would be more up my alley.

Is anyone else still have frequent disconnects from Steam Community over the past few days? I thought it was fixed, but I keep getting booted out of chat and getting the "No Connection" thing.

Got the three BIT.TRIP Runner achievements. I think the Trine one just involves playing any level that at least 3 friends have played and tying/beating them. I got it when I perfected 1-6 to get the Amnesia achievement on Normal.
I've been getting weird things where I click on a Community link and have to actually manually login. I'm not online super often in general though (play about as much offline as I do online) so I haven't noticed disconnects there.

why did no one tell me Swords and Soldiers is amazing? just played a few games in MP and it's a very quirky 2D RTS game, anyway got the achievement in the online game, had to take a few rounds before I got it, but when I did I won that match to boot

Deed is done, just got 8gig back. Being monitoring the game and no one really plays. Less than 15 people in my region where playing when i deleted it. Tripwire fucked up bad.
My biggest Steam mistake yet. Paid full price, could barely get the thing to run. I was hoping they would patch it up and that the community would stick around long enough for me to try it again with a new setup...
When I think of the GOG games I could have bought during the Holiday sale with that $40... The one time I break my "no purchasing new digitally distributed titles on release until I get lots of good feedback" rule...
