This week's Famitsu has 2 big bonus,
one is special DVD that contains the footage of Sega's coming up titles
the other is Nintendo Complete Catalog

Nintendo Complete Catalog is 196 pages.
The book records 14 Nintendo hardwares and 700 games
all the games that Nintendo released since from Famicom to 3DS

Why is there a GBC in that pic, but no DSi? They're basically the same thing relative to their respective counterpart consoles!

That's right, how SNES is supposed to look.

Close, but it's still missing the Super Nintendo logo

That's better :D

Awesome, I'll try and get this.

Does it have anything on the Famicom Modem? I was never entirely clear on whether any gaming related stuff was done with it or if it was purely for stocks & shares.

I think maybe I managed to snag the last copy as it's listed as "sold out" now, but I'm sure copies will be on eBay or other places. I love retro-stuff, used to subscribe to the British magazine Retro Gamer, but found it a bit expensive as I don't live in the UK. Will however consider subscribing to the digital version when iPad3 is released.

Yeah, the catalog pretty great. Nostalgia attack.
Also, OP, thanks for the info on that CD, thought it was just Binary Domain.
Oh. Just checked it and aside from quite a lot of BD material there are trailers for the new Yakuza game for the PSP and Rhythm Kaitou R: Koutei Napoleon no Isan for the 3DS.

I just noticed that the play-asia number is 1204, but the cover says it's the 1205 for the 1/19/2012, hmmmm

I'd pay that in a heart beat.
Most people (including me) don't mind it. But that price change depending on the stuff they add is something pretty uncommon outside Japan, right? For example Polish magazines don't do that I think.

They've added gloves which let you use iPhone etc. in one of the December issues.

Maybe desperate, but is some tidbit about Wii U a possibility? I'd imagine there would at least be one page dedicated to looking forward.

Anyone in Japan notice convenience stores no longer stocking Famitsu?
I've been unable to find it anywhere but bookstores for the last 2 or 3 months.

Depends on the store (size and company) - I buy mine in Family Mart, saw it in (I think) Lawson but they don't have it in the local 3F.

Maybe they've cut down on circulation.
Can't find it in Mini Stop or 7 Eleven near me :/
Local Odakyu Express stocks Gemaga though lol

Would love to track this issue down. I'd imagine it wouldn't be cheap though - I had a sub to Famitsu a few years back and it cost a ridiculous amount each month.

There's one on ebay for $50 ($72 w/ s&h), if you're really desperate. Hopefully there'll be more available in the coming days for a more reasonable price. :p

I like how your PAL SNES picture shows classic signs of yellowing plastic.

Hey GAF, who wants one?

I'll send this to the first person who's willing to gift me a copy of Portal 2 on Steam ($15) and send $17 for S&H to the US via Paypal. Other countries, please inquire.

Wait, Right now it's impossible for me to get anything from Steam since my CC doesn't work. .__.u I just hope somewhere in China I'll be able to found this.

You know, you can contact Steam customer service to have that restriction lifted on your account. That's how I missed the sale for $7.50 last week...

Shipping to China for a 1200 gram magazine (wild guess) would run $28 for EMS, $22 for air mail, $14 for economy air, and $15 for the slow boat.
