these toy nostalgia threads never get to me because as soon as the nes came out i didn't want anymore toys. the only thing i can say i wanted was rc cars but i would of taken videogames if i had a choice. only toys i really liked were the ninja turtle toys.

I got that exact Batmobile for Christmas from my brother, in the box and everything.

I had it when I was a kid, I was really into that 1989 Batman flick when it first came out. He thought it would make for a nice nostalgic gift.

I also got little Batman, Robin, Joker, Penguin, and Riddler figures to go with it. NEAT!

Funny though, I don't remember Joker's hat looking that ridiculously over-sized when I was a kid.

Alphie II got me. I had one, but I don't think it actually worked, so it was basically a big brick that looked like a robot.

I see a lot of people mention the "Making Of...", and I've encountered it many times at thrift stores. I guess I was the only kid with a VHS of the actual concert/show.

You plugged it into the UHF antenna, and put the dial on U.

It's weird thinking that what's being produced right now will be nostalgic one day. Something I just started thinking about now that I'm having a kid soon.

This was our first "cable"! Nick was on channel 5 and MTV was 36 I believe!

The popcorn and skunk immediately come to my sense of smell just looking at these. Despite having not smelled one in almost 30 years.

Edit: oh man and the ice cream and watermelon one and the PIZZA one that smelled more like fruity pizza grease...

I wanted Krang but his body creeped me out. So I found they made a smaller figure which was just Krang himself and a weird bipod machine sans giant pinhead creepy yellow man.
