Durango = Old brazilian slang, means you´re out of money

It comes from "duro", which means "hard", which was used in the 60´s and 70´s as a slang for being without any money.

Duro, durango

(SO old i had to check on google if it wasnt something i made up in my head when i was a kid. Nope, it isnt, people really used to say "Durango" when they were out of money)

Kind of makes it sounds like a hobo with a boner XD

On a more serious note, I wish the tech info was a bit less elusive as well.

Well, it seems that the people who arrived to Bellevue yesterday have already started leaking. Or may be it's not them, lol

So if you buy the NextBox, you'll be out of money. I see.

Maybe Microsoft's code name for Xbox 3 means that it doesn't want to sell it at a loss.

I noticed that the back of my sister's box of Kotex tampons on the bathroom shelf cabinet has the same color scheme as Kinect's. Microsoft may have thought about calling it Project Kotex!

So does this mean the console will be large, powerful and will easily topple over and crash into your Wii U?

I think this is the most appropriate thread for this:

My wife and I were watching Real Steel last night, and she noticed that in the background of one of the arenas was an "Xbox 720" advertisement. Thought it was kinda funny.

Has this been posted about already? It's weird because there's no way they'd have the real name in there, but product placement costs MS money, so... maybe they were just advertising the Xbox brand?

but people love code names. the stupider the better.

see: Ice Cream Sandwich

I don't think you quite understand this...

Ice Cream Sandwich is the actual name of Android OS 4.0

and it's a consistent theme Google has used (Eclair, Froyo, Gingerbread, Honeycomb)
