I want to play Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on this bad boy. I found out, that Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles also includes SOTN. Dracula X isn't on the official list of PSP->Vita games, but it IS compatible.

So, as it's not on the official list - will I have to download it to PS3 and then to Vita?

In the UK you can use any provider you want. £5 a month on Vodafone gets you 250mb a month plus free wipeout. But you can use any provider.

Yep, there is no point in review before launch a game that is so based in Near and social features. Is like reviewing an online game without the game being launched or in a significative open beta.

you mean like Vodafone's £5 plan which gives you 250MB for the month, giving you a free copy of wipeout too? Or pull the sim and put in a giffgaff sim for £10 per month unlimited internet. Or buy a 6 month 18GB sim from ebay for £20.

EDIT: what is the $55 in bonus content that we receive? is it for buying things with PSN? how does that work?

EDIT: nevermind, so the $55 is the 8gig card and the data connect pass. I get it now.

Awesome, may well get one then. Is the free WipeOut deal for preorders and first buyers, or will it last for a while? Also, when and how do you choose the 3g service you wish to use? And is Gravity Daze/Rush coming to Britain? So many questions :p

walked out of gamestop with rayman, wipeout, and lumines for free.

the employees didn't know it was only for first party titles even though it said it right next to the games on display and the promotion didn't process on their computer which they then proceeded to do manually.

they didn't have umvc3 :(

anyway to anyone who has heard the lumines soundtrack: are there any songs with vocals? all of the videos I've seen were purely instrumental

I got it at release too (also LE) but didn't open it right away.
I would definitely finish FFXIII first. I multi-task game a lot. Like right now, I literally am playing FFXIII-2 and HSG (Challenge) at the "same time". As in, I have them both up right now and am just switching back and forth.
It's part of the reason why I've been so into handhelds compared to other people I guess.

That's an interesting thing though. If I'm logged in and playing on both my PS3 and my Vita at the same time, what game does it show I'm playing to my PSN friends?

Lumines soundtrack definitely has vocal songs.

Not sure how long the Wipeout offer lasts but you'll get a code to download it from the PS Store after topping up £5 with Vodafone.

But if you want to use a network other than Vodafone you'll just have to get a sim card from the network you want to use and put it in the Vita.

Not sure. Every 3G unit comes with a Vodafone SIM so presumably it will last a while. Just whack a month on the card and wipeout is yours within 24 hours. You just put any SIM you want in it, that's how you choose. Any data SIM will work as far as i know. They email a code to the email associated with your PSN i assume :)

Geavity will come to UK but no announced date yet. Also, it's download only in Europe :(

Any word on how big the download files are for the launch games? Need to know that before deciding which memory card to get, or whether to settle for the 8gb

Let's talk cases.

I still don't know which case I'm getting. I want a hard case with soft cushion inside or a soft case with air inside to absorb the fall if it falls. Anyone have any suggestions?

Or I can wait a couple months for 3rd parties to step it up.

I got these ones. They look terrible imo but they don't sound too bad (actually I think that they sound better than my iPod ones, but it could be because they are old and they possibly don't work as they should anymore).

I wonder if they could port MGS4 to Vita. Kojima said he was able to port that cutscene very easily and it only ran a little like shit. I'd buy it. I guess disk/cart space would be an issue.

also is there a PC client where I can manage / download Vita games from PSN? Or does it have to be used with PS3 or Vita only (Psn)?

I would love that if Sony added options for longer idle before stand by. Right now, the longest you can set it to is 5 minutes. MSG cuts scenes can go way longer than 5 minutes. I don't want to constantly have to press a button to make sure it doesn't stand by in the middle of something.

I had zero luck on my search for games and accessories. Target had nearly all the launch games out but wouldn't sell them to me, Best Buy wouldn't match the B2G1 deal, and Toys 'R Us had the games, but no memory cards or decent cases.

Pretty bummed at the moment.

I guess I'm going to have to get up early and run to Target before I go to the surgery which didn't make my dad too happy since he's the servant of the day. I better get my shit and have it charged for when I'm home and wake up. Sucks that Best Buy wouldn't price match, Target didn't even have a display ready, GameStop acted like I was crazy and that there's no B2G1 going on at ANY GS store which is funny given the CAG thread, and Toys R Us had the games but wouldn't match either.

I'm determined to deal shop as it's the only way but store inconsistencies are a bitch. YMMV all the time I guess...lol

Add "Demolitio" on PSN if you're down for some HSG that day. :)

Just got back from Toys R Us and they sold us Katamari early, got Uncharted for $39 & a $20 GC.....they even had to override the street date prompt
