When asked if I had any other comments, I was sure to make my demands plain -- real gaming goods (like special controllers) and exclusive/real games (limited runs of non-USA titles, etc. -- NOT just vouchers for downloads I am able to buy already.)

I'm 440 coins over Platinum and I keep buying eShop games. Don't stop buying games you want just for Club Nintendo coins.
When I went to check how many coins over Platinum I was, I noticed a ten coin Member Satisfaction survey to do. So there's that.
You've gotta wait a week for DD games.
3DSWare games have registration surveys that come within a day or so.

3DSware games normally have one right as you buy it. Might have to wait until tomorrow because of CN being late to update or something.
Yeah you're right. I saw the member satisfaction survey for the same exact reason too. I'll definitely keep my KI code until July though, but that 3D Classic will be another 20 coins for this year :\
I think the surprise release of Dillon on a Wednesday, not the usual Thursday update, kinda delayed it on CN.

(i will change my club nintendo address to pay for club nintendo case aswell with my own coins)
so basically the 3 (or 4 if shipping costs are higher then i expect) game download codes are to pay for shipping to Australia.

Picked up a brand-new, factory sealed copy of Rhythm Heaven Fever and it's telling me the codes already been used. That's wacky. I'll e-mail their support and see if they can do anything but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.
Also, I ordered a 3DS game card case and it's still not here. Club Nintendo orders have always arrived pretty quickly for me.

You could do what I used to do and use HopShopGo or another such shipping service to receive your items. It's best with this to wait until the platinum gifts are shipping, then do a bunch more purchases, so you can send them all in one consolidated package to Australia. Shipping will cost you $40 or so for the whole package, depending on weight, but if they are worth that to you, then go for it.
Just don't be stupid like I was and mention that you are in Australia in any correspondence with them...
If it doesn't show up soon I'm sure you can get them to send you another. They did it for me when my reversible DS case got lost in the mail. The game case is currently out of stock though so I'm not sure how that'll work.

I had some Wii Points cards that I wasn't doing much with, so I bought a few SNES VC games a little over a week ago.
Do ALL SNES VC games give Club Nintendo post play surveys? In the past I've always received a post play survey, this time I got a post play survey for only 1 of the games I bought. They were all 1st party Nintendo games too, if that makes any difference.

There are post play surveys for all games on the Wii Shop released after a certain date. Older games don't have them.
As far as I know, every game on any of Nintendo's DD services should be entitled to post-play surveys.
edit: Well, I guess that's the case then!

The ones that didn't give me surveys were all released before 2008, I never knew only games released after 2008 had post play surveys.

Can someone tell me how to set up a family account? A friend gave me codes for both Super Mario 3D Land and Mario Kart 7, but I already have my copies registered. I'm just missing 50 points to achieve Platinum :/
OK, that's odd. When I logged on a few hours later, after the site initially told me my Rhythm Heaven Fever code had already been used, it was sitting there in my To-Do List. Definitely wasn't there before. Oh well, works for me.
Did just that and they just shipped me out a new one through UPS. Great customer service.

I had 1130 coins so I figured I might as well take advantage of the early registration bonus + intend-to-buy bonus for Rhythm Heaven and bump myself up to 1200 so I could get the Game and Watch. I was already way past Platinum for the year, but I'm sitting on a bunch of Club Nintendo codes and I'll probably end up getting a Wii U next year, so I'm not too worried about getting Platinum next year. 
Plus all of those third party 3DS games that come with codes.

Fluidity is awesome. I've got a stack of retail Wii games in my backlog, but whenever I get the chance to play (which is limited), I'm going to this Wii Ware title. Granted, that may be what tips the odds in its favor - it's perfect for short bursts of gaming. The funny thing is that of course I start with the intention of just finding one rainbow drop, and then a couple hours have passed.
Thanks Nintendo for letting me trade my Club Nintendo coins for real games.
