Question for those who have played Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
Is it largely quite linear, or big and sprawling? I really want to play it, but I don't like games where it's easy to get lost. I don't mind getting stuck for ages on puzzles, but I don't want to be fumbling around. I want to be pushed reasonably adeptly through the story.

It's a linear game, but it has some areas where you have a little "hub" area that leads to about 4-5 other areas that you have to visit to proceed.
Waves is on sale for 50% off ($4.99) until March 1 from the developer's site, and comes with a Steam code.
It's a really great twin-stick arena shmup, with tons of different modes to keep things interesting. Well worth the price.

Mirror's Edge is still on sale for $4.99 during the ongoing Amazon.com promotion. It does NOT activate on Steam unfortunately, but you are able to purchase and use the Mirror's Edge DLC, unlike the Steam version.

Ive been getting this for days now. But whats weird is that I only can't access the Store and Community even on my browser. I can play and download games normally and even getting patches. Checked for some troubleshooting on the Steam forums but nothing still works, any tips here?

I feel stupid for asking this... how did you get past the "City, ZIP/Postal Code: " section (aka how did you put yours in to get into the beta). I have tried every combo that I can think of my city and zip code and it keeps telling me to put in a valid one.
I used this site: www.fakeusaaddress.com (it didn't pop up any red lights with MSE or Malware-Bytes but I wouldn't go there with my antivirus disabled anyways) and it worked. I'm surprised IGN Prime's actually pretty decent.

Everybody is still getting the ign prime emails even if you cancelled your ign prime right? I wanna make sure I'm not the only one and somehow didn't cancel it from the last monthly thing.

Yeah in addition to cancelling auto renew, and I used an empty pre-paid CC to sign up for my trial. There's no way that they could be charging me. Yet I still receive the emails and i can even log into my prime account.
you probably weren't reading the form correctly. there's a box for your city, then a box for the zip code on the far right. anyways, i redeemed it and i'm PMing you the steam cd-key.

once desura starts up, click the blue icon (next to your avatar picture) in the start up window and go down to tools and select activate cd key
How does this compare to say, Geometry Wars 2?
Oh my, that's one of the most annoyingly difficult start up screens to get to. Anyway imma play some Ninja Gaiden instead. Thank you!
