He always complains that 85% is basically no bloom.
Not confirmed there's no info til E3, I'm just speculating really. If there hasn't been much info shown at this point, why not just wait til E3? Although I could imagine small tidbits will be mentioned from time to time.
And man, I still can't believe how long we obsessed over the grainy H4 footage from that "Working at 343" vidoc. Was it ever made clear whether it was actually Halo 4?

Still looks vaguely like Reach on Countdown to me.
I'm not complaining, though. And 85% isn't basically 0%, only on host.
That's kind of what I was thinking, but I still don't understand that black "visor outline" or whatever that was. Although now that I think about it, it wasn't in the short clips from the formal reveal.

It was, but it was made transparent. Check it out: http://youtu.be/f6UL63Zo-uo?t=1m52s. My guess is that they're making it transparent in multiplayer, and opaque in campaign. Or maybe customizable/optional across the board.

Though there was no real fix for grenades, 85% bloom greatly reduced the pervasive aim/spam frustration, and the tweaks to armor lock, sword, and camo reduced some of the occasional annoyances, it was bleed through that made the gunplay feel good again. Now every time I get 3 shots into a guy and he just goes for the punch I say "fuck it" and we do the double melee dance for simultaneous deaths.
Then I turn off the xbox and wait for Halo 4.
Such a frustrating mechanic... Encourages kids to crouch shoot showing half their head from the other side of the map.
Edit: we haven't seen any non 85% TU bloom gametypes have we? I would love to see 343 release a handful of different bloom gametypes to toy with. 300% would be interesting

Thanks for linking that Cyren. Sundance seems genuinely worried about Halo. This is the second time I've seen him interviewed in which he seems to want to bitch heavily about Reach but censors himself.
Hopefully Halo 4 will be amazing for everyone, casuals and competitives alike. It sounds like 343 is somewhat more invested in the pro community than Bungie was (at least during the post Halo 3/Reach-era).
Man with the Golden Gun is available in the Anniversary Classic section of the Reach playlist compendium, just make sure you have host and the game type is Slayer.

Crouching was a cool mechanic in Shadowrun because there was very little actual cover, as far as I remember. Not very many rails, or chest high walls, or anything like that. If you were crouching to shoot, you were doing it in the open, so you better be good at it. It was risk/reward. And besides, you could still move really quickly into and out of crouch so it didn't slow down gameplay very much

Played reach for the first time in like 6 months. Why are there still playlists that have bloom? I played one match of doubles and wanted to kill myself. Then I played MLG and memories of MLG halo 3 came flooding in. So good.

Yea I still am not sure if that was intended to balance camo or a glitch. They never really said did they? I think along time ago it didn't mess up your teams radar.
It was a bug that was supposed to be fixed after the beta, not a balancing element (those tend to not be totally annoying to your entire team like scrambling everyone's radar is). It doesn't show up consistently, but it's enough for me to want that loadout removed from matchmaking.

Yeah, I think they mentioned it being fixed on the post-Beta May podcast. It's pretty ridiculous that it's still in matchmaking. The Pit upper spawns all over again.
