Was in a similar point when I was watching Mitsudomoe, and some others . But I've gotten over it now, hate my roommate anyways.
Still embarrassed that I really like Mitsudomoe though.

Did they ever mention that Ms Mikami was MC's Aunt Reiko? They showed that flashback of her telling him to not treat her like his aunt at school, but I don't believe they showed that earlier in the series.
I'm not sure how I feel about the end.

New Prince of Tennis 13 (end)
The anime had so much potential, the cool OP the fun ED (Enjoy is a fun song with the visuals) that Im confused how it turned out like this. I felt it lost its way some way through in trying to make this entire training arc feel deep. Too many characters, not enough development, and not enough tennis, almost makes me want to give up the sports anime genre, if they are all like this. I did have some fun with it though, Echizen was always cool and Kintarou was just the best.
I actually enjoyed everything at the training camp thing at the end of the day, though the ending was baffling
6 / 10, hopefully we get a season two or something, and well it didnt really convince me to try the manga, if that was their goal of the anime.

they are just automatically accepted back and in a higher court then the people that beat them? what, thats kind of unfair to them

When I watched the first 20-25 episodes of the original way back I remember liking the cut of his jib.

I totally agree with you. The anime just ended abruptly. There were no high profile matches like in the original anime. In the original anime, the matches were tense matches that lasted a few episodes That is one thing I loved about the orignal. You should watch the original as it is MUCH better than this new series, but it is long (178 episodes). Another sport series I watched was Giant Killing. I thought that anime did a pretty good job as a soccer/football anime (24 episodes, I believe).
Get some Avatar, slap a mob scene in there, throw in some tron-esque games, and you've got yourself a hit!
Anime truly is saved.

Pretty sure it wasn't revealed prior and was supposed to be a twist.
The flashback doubles as both plot twist and as explanation for the plot twist: Reiko telling Sakakibara to keep her roles as aunt and teacher strictly separate shows why there was no sense of familiarity between Ms. Mikami and Sakakibara.
I felt like the ending lived up to the rest of the show, for better and for worse.
The remaining shorts are much better. Don't worry.

Bakuman season 2 ep 25 (end)
Season 2 was just as good as the first really. I like this story. Like the first season when the final episode aired it was pretty emotional as its like weve been with them for so long and then were not with them anymore, as if it is some emotional parting with something youve seen grow and develop over time. They really went through a lot this season and Im so glad it paid off, especially for Saiko. Like Sket Dance, this is up there for my favorite longer running anime. 25 or so weeks without Bakuman needs to go fast as I cant wait for Season 3.
But on episode 25. Im so glad Perfect Crime
ended up hvaing characters that dont look like Saiko or any others. That was a minor issue with some plots they thought of in the past with lookalikes. Sure the female still looks like Azuki, but thats alright.

Orihara returned and the new assistants were compelling, and lastly that first place finish was cool and so emotional, then with the montage playing while with Dream of Life and the grave, pretty well done.
