Well done my friend. But I am only a silver trophy. I think rocksolidaudio is the platinum in that game.
(Again, too bad Ascension doesn't have Elo like Carc so we could check for sure. Oh how I would love for all board games to have not only persistent rating, but also match history vs. other players so I could remember my record against certain people. As it is Carc has the best stat-tracking out there but even then it's pretty high-level.)
I think I learned Fealty -- went through the tutorial which I thought was quite good though not quite comprehensive (kinda like the Carc one actually). So feel free to invite away. Heel can you add that to the spreadsheet when you get a chance? I'm going to swap it in for Hero Academy in the OP as well when I get a sec. Seems like a solid game though maybe a bit brainburny (so basically perfect for async).
Yeah, I have had games take months before, but if I really want more active games I start up a few 2-3 player games with people I know are fairly active like astrolad, mercviper, Roxanne, risotto, bigwinnerx, Etc.

ELO system really would be perfect for most of these games... All Ascension has is a very general win-lose stat tracking for all 2p, 3p and 4p games seperate... :/

I need more practice with a lot of these...my bread and butter game has been Shadow Era to date. The main game I play on iOS these days, but Hero Academy looks pretty awesome. Ra plays really nicely on the iPad, and Ascension worked out well there with the asynch gameplay.

Playing a few ascension games, I think I have the basic rules down just not the strategy.
Couldn't figure out why people just don't hit the play all button until the time I had a card that lets you discard one of your own, but since it was at the end, I couldn't use it

I only ever use the play all button if I have no special cards in my hand, e.g. Only apprentices/mystiques/militia/thatotherknightguycard. Otherwise i like to plan out what I play when

This thread. We've merged the Carc & Ascension threads into here and added some additional flavor and resources. Add your name to Heel's spreadsheet as well so people can know you are open to invites. Carc is still the king of iOS board games of course.
Yeah AstroLad I'd ask a mod to lock down the Carc thread with the new link to avoid any confusion. I think things will be a lot more active if we're all centralized in a megathread.
I guess it would be up to kryptikjoker to do the same with the Ascension thread.

Nah you don't really need to go through the fuss when it's clear from the thread. I've been really impressed at how active this thread has been -- much more so than the Carc thread by itself. imo just need to make sure we keep discussing board game releases in the main thread and dropping links over here when necessary so it doesn't just stay limited to who's in here now.

Fealty has me stoked because Asmadi also publishes Innovation, probably my favorite release from the past three years of boardgaming, and I totally forgot that they've started work on an iOS version. Send me Fealty invites!

On an iPad 3, there seems to be a small hiccup placing a follower on a tile in Carc. He goes on the piece, but about a second after i touch the tile. I guess I'll try completely restarting or something. Anyone seen something similar?

I'm always up for more Carc games (+ expansions). I usually have a few going but not as many as in the past so I could use some more.
I see Neuroshima Hex in the spreadsheet. That game isn't asynch yet, is it? I own it and have played against AI but I really won't leap in against GAFers until it goes asynch.

Won my first attempt at quick play in Carc. I felt bad though, the guy was helping me build my cities...ahhem...hahaha.
Didn't know it wasn't online multiplayer until after I added it. Online update is coming soon though, so I left it on there.

Felt the same after I took out my iphone after an exam I had today. Gone for 3h = 3 notifications in Carc, HA and Asc each. Feelsgoodman.jpg

Our T&E and Eradicate games came to a halt pretty fast lol. I now have Food Fight too, so I'm down to try that out.

Also, sorry I backed out on the ascension game, I just don't like 4 player ascension. Even 3 isn't really my favorite.
