Apologies for the wait! The Steam releases are in Capcom's court and they are working on them now. The best answer we can give now is 'ASAP(!)'.

In the meantime, the games are available for purchase direct & DRM-free from their websites:

PaulLFC, that sucks! I hope this is something Valve figures out in the future.

Now as it happens I've got my own issue with Steam. I bought Toy Soldiers, and when I try to run it, I get a 'Games for Windows Live: Failed to Initialize' error message. I've never had this problem come up running any other GFWL games - any ideas?

Usually it should display a specific error message when something goes wrong with it. Did it not do that?

Or perhaps try to run the game as admin?

Try opening the GFWL marketplace and signing in before booting up the game. If that doesn't work, maybe try looking in the Toy Soldiers folder for the GFWL redistributable and see if that does anything. You might need to uninstall and update to the latest version, I'm not sure.

I'm really tempted to pre order max payne 3, but coming out so close to D3 I don't know if I will even get around to touching it before the first sale.

So recently I found that I can use school's proxy in chrome and none of it counts towards my allocated bandwidth. Is there any way to run Steam through my school's proxy or to get a program to tell Steam or Windows to use the proxy or is it against the rules?

If you're setting up the connection through the control panel then all program's should use that connection.

Hah, i got skyrim for my buds and bills.

Buds is like, 15 and bills 5. When selling dont expect to get alot just cos it's rare. I think buds/bills for skyrim is pretty decent.

I know this might be a bit late, but when your update download percentage does back to 0% that just means it's at 0% of the what you had left to download. It does resume.

It's theoretically against the TOS, but you can use a program like Proxifier to tunnel Steam connections through most HTTPS and SOCKS proxies.

No this time..I still download the 11 gb of the last update.. Man my conexion sucks is not hard to see the progress XD

I actually wonder if the MW3 deal has Activision pressing them to not have ANY OTHER DEALS that weren't already running, and Cursed Crusade slipped through for some reason. We'll see on Monday perhaps!

I'm really wanting to play Saints Row The Third, and am so tempted to just buy it and all the DLC, but I know once I do there will be a 50% off deal or something soon.

It's a THQ game and they always have sales. While it's a great game and I'm not going to stop you from getting it now, it is usually on sale a lot.

Yeah, the cheapest I've found it for is $40 on Green Man Gaming. I should have jumped on that deal awhile back when it was, like, $13.50 or something crazy. I don't remember the site but the deal didn't last long.

Rochard is a great platformer if you're in the mood for that or you want some brief game to clear from your backlog. It took me 6 hours to finish it while taking my time and looking for collectibles, so you can finish it faster than that for sure.

I'm about to buy this game but I'm trying to resist as I have a huge backlog in front of me. Comments like this makes resisting a pretty hard task.
