Max Payne 3 Design and Tech video on Bullet Time - OUT NAO

PS3 ftwinz!
It'll probably be closer than other Rockstar titles considering they showed had the PS3 version playable at PAX and they usually only show the 360 version. I didn't hear anyone reporting any differences between the versions, aside from PC, at PAX.

do i have to play max payne 2 to undersand max payne 3? might get it on psn if thats the case.
I have a bit of a backlog so I guess I'll just wait for the inevitable DF face off
Let's hope so... I was going to get the PC version, but now I'm too sure with the steep CPU and hard drive requirements.

It helps if you want to get into the story and the main character's psyche. If you just want to shoot people in the face, not really.
There are some perks that balance that.

How were all previous Rockstar game on PS3?
Not terrible but not as good as the 360 versions. Lower resolution, worse framerate in most cases

Going from 9 years to 2 weeks just seems surreal. Hopefully the next 15 days fly by and there's plenty of news and features coming to help that!
So GAF, any suggestions for the online GAF Crew? When the game launches we can create the GAF symbol with the online emblem creator to use for our crew too. NoirGAF has my vote.

If you activate bullet time, whoever you look at is in bullet time.
If anyone looks at either of you, that person is in bullet time.
If the 3rd person looks at anyone while in bullet time, or someone sees that 3rd person, that 4th person is also in bullet time.
On and on and on. If you can see bullet time, you're in bullet time, and anyone you look at or who sees you will be in bullet time.

Well LA Noire was originally a PS3 exclusive if I remember correctly.

Actually, if you INITIATE bullet time, your bullets travel at regular speed while the targeted person's bullets slow down. If that occurs during the "bullet time time" as well isn't yet known, but I'd suspect so.
15 days. Damn. I'm almost considering switching my Amazon pre-order to GameStop just for the midnight release. Last game I got at GameStop was Red Dead Redemption for the exact same reason :lol and I don't usually get packages until like 5 PM =[
