Those are some uncharacteristically high scores. Has this been a trend recently? I've always known edge as the outlet that loves to throw 4s and 5s and whatnot on any game they can find an excuse to (and I often agree with them). And I would have assumed a game like The Splatters would have been a prime candidate for such as score...

Miyamofo on Vita:

I don't really see the combination of software and hardware that really makes a very strong product. I'm not looking at Vita as happy that it's not selling well, or scared that it would sell well - I'm not looking at Vita that way.

I think the interview might have already been published (like most of the reviews). It's the one where he talks about bringing back LTTP and F-Zero.

Should probably not trust the 7-11 security cameras quite so much
Mario Open Tennis only got a 7... I guess that's why I still have not preordered it.

7 from Edge is a very good score. If anything this makes me more interested in the game.

Smash Bros Melee got a 6.

Sometimes I ask to myself: is it so necessary to publish EDGE scores? I mean, is it so influential? It doesn't have so many readers, probably less than an average random website.

Links for reviews to everything except DD

Still looking forward to it, my impression from the demo was good. Going to wait and see if any issues spring up later into the game.

Yea, I want to read what they have to say, most of the reviews so far has been pretty vague and doesn't really mention much about negatives, would be nice to see what the negative things are

This is just nonsense.

Skullgirls review doesn't make much sense to me. I guess they left all the (shitty Edge fighting game review) criticisms for the print?

No matter, SF X TK confirmed to be better game!

Yeah, I'm not sure anymore. These days we know well in advance of the magazine's release if Edge doles out a 'controversial' review.

Crysis 3 is in New York? Again?
How utterly boring.

"Oh wait NY has jungle now like in the first game!", yeah i'm not fooled.
Gamers are such fucking tourists these days "been there, done that"

Not that I disagree, just an interesting observation how we put so much value into a game's setting.

There's a whole ton of reviews of The Splatters online that haven't done a particularly good job of it. The first hour or so of the game is 8/10, and anything beyond that is about 5 or 6/10.

Some people may have still enjoyed it, but I can almost guarantee that any really high score for this game is from someone that just didn't play it enough.
